Cuba is great. Airbnb is the way to go, or you could just walk around and find a casa particular that suits you. Take euros to exchange for CUC rather than US dollars. Don't plan to spend much time on the internet.
So I went to Cuba a couple months ago, and I can say is wow, I had a blast. Probably the best vacation I ever took. Received my Visa at the gate that I applied to online and had no issues with customs. The people were nice, only issue I had was a cop following me around a store like I was a convict but other than that I felt safe. Weather was great, beaches were nice. Went to a beach 2 1/2 miles away called Varadero beach and it had the clearest water I ever seen. The ladies were beautiful and down to earth. Only thing that sucked was having to find a park and get a wifi card to use internet. I hope to go back one day, but for now, screw trump since he will close the gates to Cuba. But for now.. I'll be at Michaels..
