Just got back home from the game. A few things I got from Game 1:

    Beverly is a beast.
OKC did a good job of running the Rockets off the 3-point line.
    Lower bowl fans suck.

Man, Grayson Allen really needs to get into better shape before the draft combine.

Same BS by Steven A Smith. OKC got no help and Harden had a lot of shooters like Anderson, Lou Williams, Ariza blah blah blah. He made it sound like Anderson, Lou Williams and Ariza scored a lot of points. But in reality Anderson and Ariza only scored 4 points each and Lou Williams had 11 which were mostly scored in garbage time.

    That's what im talking about.

Dominated on the boards, 2nd chance points, points in the paint and defensively.

Harden was magnificent. The three wasn't falling so he started attacking that rim relentlessly. Then he closed them out with some beautiful step back three pointers.

Beverley tenacity and energy is top notch. After that hard pick by Adams, dude caught fire.

Nene was a beast in the paint on both ends and Capela played solid as well.

Loved seeing Anderson crashing the boards.

    Great win

    Lmao at this guy.

Rockets roll OKC as Harden, ironically, illuminates Westbrook's MVP case. Matt Moore

In the maddening maze that was this year's MVP conversation between Russell Westbrook and James Harden (and Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James), teammates were a huge problem. If Harden and Westbrook were more or less equal, then you could argue the award would -- and perhaps already has -- come down to who did more with less.

This is regular-season award, of course. Votes are already in. We won't know for a few months who actually won. But if the Rockets' 118-87 Game 1 beating of Oklahoma City on Sunday night was any indication, this is definitely a point in Westbrook's favor.

Indeed, Harden has a much better team around him.

So why did every single pre-season predictions article have OKC finishing considerably ahead of Houston?

    Weird.

Matt Moore is an idiot! He can argue WB has an inferior team despite all the facts at the beginning of the season proving otherwise, WB did less THIS GAME, NOT MORE.

Strange that Matt Moore made that article because he actually voted for Harden officially.
