So, that umpire will purposely make a call against the Astros' interest because Hinch chose not to scream at him, unnecessarily delay the game and show him up? Again, makes no sense to me. And the call was ridiculously bad. Hinch screaming, getting in his face and kicking dirt wasn't going to change that, and, most importantly, he had a game to manage and win.
And yet his level-headed reaction.... of a call that everybody knew was wrong, and he couldn't do anything about... led to his team making another great comeback against adversity. It would be one thing if he was consistently losing and his team was literally not playing hard for him. Its another when his team is winning and coming through in clutch situations. At this point, you're basically advocating for him to kick dirt just to kick dirt... which is hence, childish.
Just like it won't make sense next time we visit the Royals and get a steady diet of head high inside fastballs.
You do realize they've played about 17 games against each other (including playoffs) since they hit Springer in 2015.... and there hasn't been any further escalation of any animosity. Also, pitching inside is a tactic used by everybody. Lastly, check out the pounding the Astros bats delivered on KC in the series there last year. But yes, you want a cage match...
What, Have you watched the games? They have no problem throwing in on the Stros and will continue to do so.
They didn't barely squeak by them in the playoffs due to "throwing in on them". And in 2016: Astros 8, Royals 2 Astros 13, Royals 4 Astros 14, Royals 5 Are you sure you're watching the games? You're basically making up a controversy that simply doesn't exist. If anything, there's evidence that the Royals should be throwing inside more... the Astros were very comfortable against that pitching staff.
He's not far... usually posts in games they are trailing (rarely at all in games they're winning). Unfortunately, pointing that out brings him out even moreso....
Huh? And you post when? I'm glad you got it all figured out there genius. I'll look for ya next game thread and anticipate your expertise analysis.
I was referring to cangegrero... genius. "HE" is not far from here... meaning you can still read his posts if you want to. Wasn't referring to you.
Honestly, you could say the same for most of the series thread posters over the last couple of years.
Our guys. McCullers. Altuve. Gurriel. Gonzalez. Bregman. Musgrovr for sure went. Now I'm sure another 5-10 went.
Sam Dyson blew another save. None of the balls the Mariners put in play in the bottom of the 9th left the infield.
