2015 was a very good year for Hip-Hop albums. Didn't see a '16 thread so I made one. 2016 is about to get underway with Kanye West releasing his album in a couple days. <iframe width="50%" height="150" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/241018700&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true"></iframe> Future- Evol just released last friday to some good reviews. <iframe width="50%" height="150" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/239037229&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true"></iframe> Drake's single from his album in April <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/p9CGLRkkvOs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Anderson Paak (my fav new artist right now with a great voice for R&B) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zNTNbNtft9g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Albums I'm really looking forward to other than Kanye: Doomstarks (Ghostface & DOOM joint album) De la Soul (1st album in over 10 years) Pusha T (the 2015 album was phenomenal) Run the Jewels 3 Albums I would check out: YG Chance the Rapper Missy Elliott (I don't have a lot of hope for this).
Anderson .Paak's album was pretty good. Real Friends is an enjoyable track and I also like No More Parties in LA. This may be the first Kanye album that I've actually looked forward to in the last 10 years. Not much else out yet in terms of hip-hop. I'm looking forward to Aurora by local group The Hue. Hopefully it comes out this year. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/owuzkvtCLTw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

2016 seems like it might end on a good note musically. J. Cole just dropped his new album 4 your Eyez only. and he had these 2 joints This one is really dope to me because he plainly calls out Kanye and says what myself and other old Kanye fans but not Kanye d-riders think/have been saying. He also calls out Drake and then Wale....(who of course immediately responded but at least it was a mature response and basically as respectful as it gets in hip hop replies). Wale's reply
Stop it breh. Making us remember there's such a thing or "rapper" known by that name. I tried to erase his music from my mind.
Just listened through J-Cole's for the first album for the first time, I'm impressed so far. Glad to see a new real rap album, Childish' new album was garbage. I would hardly even classify some of those songs as 'music'. Meet Your Mama smooth though
Stoney by Post Malone here: http://digitapes.com/post-malone-stoney-new-album-download-or-stream/ J Cole's new album here: http://digitapes.com/j-cole-4-your-eyez-only-new-album-download-or-stream/ Don't sleep on Ab-Soul's new album either
Czarface and KXNG Crooked, also if you like dead prez jedi mind tricks type of stuff check out the latest k-rino
Don't listen to much newer stuff in any genre, but have always liked Pusha T. What's up with J Cole and Wale?
Wale and Cole came up together with Drake and Kendrick. All 3 found success while Wale fail off. Cole was/is looking out for his friend.
2017 is off to crazy start. Albums from Migos and Big Sean are ridiculous. Slim Thug's new one is nice too, if you like home cooking.
I just found out this guy .. . . . Is this guy I use to rock this album for like 2 years! I still have the somewhere Repping BayTown Tx Rocket River
