Marisnick is a good fit for the Oakland park and Reddick can't hit LHPs whatsoever. Makes sense to have him in the lineup.

 

Reddick has a lower average against LHP. marisnick has a low average against everybody! .

Two sentences are contradictory. 2nd sentence is false when discussing lefties and Reddick.

 

2 separate statements can't be contradictory if they are not related in any way.

Misread your post. Thought it said lower in second sentence instead of low implying that Marisnick hits for a lower average than Reddick in all situatiibs which is not true in a reasonable sample size against lefties like last year or career. My bad.

Marisnick should still play over Reddick against lefties as he's hit them better and is a better defender.

 

ya I mean the career avg's are in marisnicks favor by under 10 points. If you think marisnicks defense is enough of an excuse to put him in a platoon, I understand your reasoning.

 

I don't get why marisnick is in there either. Reddick should be playing.

 

I'm kind of over Gurriel already...hoping Reed or White get called up soon and start to mash. Those guys give me way more hope. I've seen enough!
