As pessimistic as this thread is, I really do find joy when we win. I do disagree with how sustainable our method of attack is though. I just firmly believe through a series where teams get more familiar with how a team plays that teams will really tighten up on the 3 point line. I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong, but I just think we're too one dimensional.

Victory is defined by the 1st team to win 4 games.

It is not defined by a media members opinion on how to allocate props and credit.

By all accounts this is a win-lose situation. If we win 4 games before they do we win. If we dont then we lose

    You cant refute that

What does this post have anything to do with your OP?? Seriously, now you just sound like someone who is finding ways to be negative about the Rockets chances. This has nothing to do with media perception. This is all you, buddy.

Seriously... why are some people dumb enough to give a **** what the media thinks? Players talk to each other, not the media. Most players don't even like the media. Case and point, when the media gave their pos MVP award to Curry, who did the players give it to? That's right... Harden.

    Nah, stop crying all season

It's the playoffs. Grab some pizza, have a few scotches or beer, bang some biatches, smoke some bong, enjoy the games and be happy.

If we win because of our "supporting cast"

isnt that a good thing? Something we've been b****ing about? Lol I'm good.

Come on, there is no way we could beat the Spurs. Popovich is not only the greatest coach ever, he's defensive mastermind and he's owned MDA in the past and it was no contest. Once you thought that there is a chance - every intangible, every little thing came out his way. Duncan shot, Horry-Nash thing etc

Of course I disagree with the OP, but instead of being rude I'll try to rectify what he's saying. I think it's kinda bad if we win in 7 games for the MVP race alone, as far as validation goes (since the votes will already have been cast. 6 games is meh..but if we stomp them in 4 or 5 then you can have your cake and eat it too. Westbrook wasn't "valuable" enough to keep them from getting swept. At that point, the media will be put to shame, supporting casts be damned

We all get what the OP is saying (or at least we all should), but the end result is still the same; which self-respecting fan gives a damn? Which player really gives a damn? The media does not move the meter at all.
