I can't believe this is real life. Like these dudes can't be watching games. Westbrook is the most inefficient stat padder of all time.

No he wasn't. Had dozens of media members saying that Westbrook "won the duel" and "just didn't have enough help" after that game.

This was always Westbrook's. Harden just made it tough of him, which is an accomplishment with how obviously one sided the favoritism has been.

    Harden was never the favorite.

Vegas had him as the favorite for most of the season, and so did all of these unofficial polls done by members of the media...things changed in these last 2-3 weeks

It wasn't a smokescreen, it was real. Harden literally lost the award in the span of 2-3 weeks as Westbrook went ham and Harden played average-below average for his standards. If the voting were to have happened immediately after that OKC game then I'm very confident that Harden would've won by a comfortable margin.

The media has ruined the NBA and all other pro sports. These dudes don't even watch the games they cover. Adam Silver has also done everything in his power to **** up the league and its traditions.

Yeah nothing happens unplanned in this league when it comes to awards. They knew he would break the triple double record it was always his reward.

I hope Harden's consolation prize is the Larry O'Brien trophy.

Doris Burke revealed during the broadcast of NOP/POR that she will be voting for Russell Westbrook for MVP. Sigh.

She's a reporter and analyst, the same as J.A. Adande, David Aldridge, Chris Broussard, Royce Young, and the tons of other similar guys who have votes. Why shouldn't she?
