I'd rather spend a 2nd on Webb, Kizer, or Peterman than a 3rd on Dobbs even though it's looking like Webb will definitely be gone by then.

Went from none of these QBs worth a first round pick, to none of them will be available in the 2nd round. I need the draft to get here, the speculation is killing me.

Definitely that time in the process. But I've maintained there will be a run on QBs a lot earlier than most mocks have been trending lately. Just way too many teams with high picks needing one coupled with the fact that there are only 3-4 good prospects (maybe less depending on who you're talking to).

I'm not seeing it, I've been watching his game tape since he was brought up as a possibility here a couple of days ago and his play doesn't jump off the tape, not the way a first rounder should. I'm more impressed with Brad Kaaya and he's a 3/4th rounder. Plus Mahomes beat him out and took his job, draft Mahomes

Would LOVE this pick. The guy is a true ball hawk and plays with a ton of swagger. Also a good guy and arguably the most important player on a fantastic secondary last season.

Yea I think his ball skills are on par with Hooker and Eddie Jackson

OT is a lock for first 2 rounds. Jabrill Peppers in the 1st or Budda Baker in the 2nd would be perfect. Even though Obi Melifonwu looks more like a Texans pick imo. Could Donta Foreman be there in the 3rd? I like Ezra Robinson or Cameron Sutton in the 4th, or Howard Wilson if he goes undrafted. In round 5, Jerod Evans, Chad Kelly, Brad Kaaya, or Nathan Peterman. Ricky Seals-Jones or Jalen Robinette in the 6th. From here we could draft O line depth. This formula pretty much shores up every need except LB but with Watt coming back we'll be set.

I've said it a few times now, but I get the feeling, especially if Mahomes is gone, Webb may be he Texans round one pick.

Those two just seem like the types of quarterbacks that would make BOB drool, if we pretend to know what makes him drool.

James Conner to the Texans makes too much sense, and needs to happen.

I've been saying this for literally two years on this board.

If we are going to be weak at QB.... Maybe go after All Day.

Peterson visiting New Orleans and may sign for less money:

Draft a QB if you see one you like, add depth to O-line through draft and/or pick up some cheap vets. Have Peterson ramming it up the middle and Lamar Miller working the edges. Peterson may not have much left, but he lives and works out his gym in Houston. Yes the guy is a dick for his off field issues, but it may be our only shot at having an average offense with no QB riding in on a white horse.

I would worry about getting another guy with potential cancer issues, but I do agree that we need someone of that style. Hopefully BOB finally has realized that Lamar Miller is not a power back and can't do well running in that way.

Would you worry about Eric Berry if he was on your team? The Chiefs don't seem to...

I don't think that's the same as drafting someone who has already had cancer. The kid might never have another problem.....or he could be the next Q

He's already beat his cancer. He's already played since he beat his cancer.

    It's a completely different story than Q.

He's got the same exact kind of cancer that Berry had and he beat it the same way Berry did.

He's a hell of a football player. He's an even better person. It sucks that he's going to drop a round or two because of having cancer. Whoever drafts him is getting a steal. Remember, the year before he tore his MCL and was subsequently diagnosed, this is a kid that beat out Jameis Winston for ACC OPOY.

I understand the trepidation in not wanting to draft someone with past medical issues, but it's behind him.

The problem with cancer is that it tends to come back. I certainly hope the kid is done with it for good, but we can't know that. Given the Rockets history I wouldn't risk it.

I have mentioned Conner for a while now also. But I wouldn't mind foreman either.
