At this point just win. Id love to see harden be modest. Hes about "naturalistics" lol.

Get 20pt and 15 assist games in the flow of team basketball. I really want harden to own the "its all about winning" mentality.

We do have a better team then the thunder... and thats a damn good thing. Not something to be ashamed about like the media thinks. Lets win!

We know what harden can do. He has nothing left to prove to us in terms of individual ability. Lets make a run towards the WCF

    I completely agree.

Coaches are more scared of harden than westbrook. Thats what bballbreakdown nick thinks verbatim and it seems like thats what pop thinks if u listen to his interviews.

Lets go. Itd be so fun to shock the world

Actually, It has a lot to do with his performance on the court, and very little to do with individual stats or regular season record. So hopefully he shows up..................

Kawhi has terrific numbers, especially when you consider his defense and how much of it can't be quantified. But just to give you a flavor....check out Harden's numbers against Kawhi. Tom Haberstroh has this conversion nailed. Kawhi is sick defensively and has as much defensive impact as Harden has offensive impact.

This year, his defense has been a shell of its former self, he's nowhere near as locked in (probably a side effect of the increased offensive role), and the spurs forums are pretty comical about it.

Winning the MVP is all about narrative. I've said this before - if the Rockets win 60 games, the MVP is Harden's, otherwise it will go to Westbrooke. The Rockets winning 60 games is an incredible story considering what they won last year - all lead by Harden the pg. But 55 or 56? It's not that great of a season when you put it next to RW's triple double breaking season.

Harden may deliver more win-shares and I do believe to truly be the MVP of the league, but sadly, he will be finishing second to the better story.

    Yeah, ok.

He's right there with Draymond at the top of best defensive players. Playoffs will prove it. But keep getting your info from the Spurs fan forums. That'll work.

I'm curious if anyone knows the answer to this question:

If Westbrook wins MVP, would his team's record be the worst ever in MVP history? It's got to at least be in among the worst ever right?

what he can do, and what he is doing aren't the same thing. I don't doubt his defense will be better in the playoffs but it has been above average at best during the season, however he's riding kobe bryant syndrome to an all nba defensive spot, all perception, no substance, which of course is literally who you are.

Sometimes I think we dissect our players like a frog in a middle school science class. We know what the frog's like physically, but we'll never know what was happening in its brain when the hammer went down. Was he considered Most Valuable Frog by his peers? Did he hop around like a madman, the envy of the other guys, while snackin' on flies and chasing female frogs with big butts? What was his last thought before the end? The MVF award, the flies, the big butts? Was he thinking about the envy of his peers? That this might not end well, but that he was King of the Frogs while he lasted? I would be leaning towards big butts, but I think James, were he that frog, would be thinking about the envy of his peers. For James, one thing matters the most, and that one thing, above all, is cherished by everyone who plays in the League. A championship. A ring. So maybe we should cut him some slack. Harden may talk like a frog from time to time, but he has hops, and he wants to win more than anything. Let's see if he can when it matters the most. That time is approaching fast.

Harden folds like predicted, such mental fragility...he should focus on playing the right way, with the right attitude on both ends and let his game do the talking next year. He has himself to blame here..
