Tough to find the truth, some of their leaders are denying a direct connection to the commandments. There is some motivation, yes, but the commandments aren't really similar to the Quran, as the commandments for example explicitly forbid killing (all killing, not just in a twisted Quran way). There's also no direct punishment for breaking these commandments. That has nothing to do with ISIS, Taliban etc, who are killing their own kind out of religious believes. This is not about the West being the only enemy or reason for their actions.
No, you and people like you who deflect and relativize are part of the problem. It's stupid, intellectually lazy wannabe do-gooder style to act like all religions are the same. They are not. It's not in the name of "all religions" that people are currently blowing themselves up in European cities, all over the place, wherever Muslims were allowed to enter the country in larger numbers in recents years. It's in the name of Islam. It's not in the name of "all religions" that people are murdered every single day around the world. It's in the name of Islam. And the next stereotypical reflex of course also had to come up: "former Western colony" - like it's the West's fault that Mohammed, who was a child-raping warlord who beheaded hundreds of Jews, founded a cult in the name of which people are still being murdered today.
- first of all, you had a glimpse of verses without reading an entire chapter, this is a make up for a lazy opinion - ISIS unlike alqyaida, they preach anger and hate with little substance, it's somehow like debating with atw, on other hand,Qayida uses a verse here and there without complete context to make a case for imbeciles Take for instance Al-Emran chapter , its dedicated to Jesus grandparents (Amram in Hebrew), and a dialogue between the prophet and people of the Bible during his time ,you will get the full pictures once you read it
Cool that you and Brown know my biography and what I know or experience. These argumentations always seem pre-written. That's one chapter, great. These are still many verses which are open-ended and not only meant to be seen in a historical context or past tense.
It's actually not tough to find the truth, it's just inconvenient to you. Remind me why the Bible Belt supports the death penalty moreso than the rest of the nation? Of course it is. It's just easier for you dehumanize and be ignorant instead of understanding why. Like ATW, you refuse to acknowledge there are eras when Muslims aren't the killing machines you just assume they always are, like essentially the last 300 years starting from the early 1970s.
Well, this why I asked you to have a better knowledge on topic. If I want to criticize X or Y idilogy,I would invest sometime exploring the root of it Yeah just apply the same principle at any given verse and it will it work like a charm. Points like : - modified manuscripts -Christians/Jews vary individually ,some trust worthy ,some are not , some are believers while others are not - judgment done by God,not a thing prophets/ people business -Jeseus was like Adams, didn't need a father to be born -the Balance between rewards and punchment And so on .... Let's say, while it's common to label Muslims as anti-Christian, it's common to label Christians/Jew as misguided Brothers, much softer approach
You are the one who deflects and can't even address all the points when they don't fit your narrative or inconvenient. Funny how the Muslims in America and specifically in Houston don't resemble your view of Muslims. Because the Old Testament is a fun, violence free children's book? You are merely ignorant, that is all. You can't accept the fact that Muslims aren't conquering killers all the time as it doesn't fit your narrative. You can't accept that places like Iran, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Pakistan were not the same places just 40 years ago because it doesn't fit your ignorant narrative. Folks like you are why extremism will go and be harder to stop.
Has absolutely nothing to do with this topic, neither am I in favor of Christianity. Terrible attempt at changing the subject. Putting words into my mouth, never said that. Not dehumanizing anything, but your idiotic narrative and attempts don't explain why the vast majority of victims are Muslims. Try again, and this time please try without making up a new narrative.
It was sarcasm, seems you don't understand it. I did research and pointed out how cheap the attempts here are. “This guy criticizes Islam? Has to be a pathetic loser that failed in life and got all f his information from f***islam.com.“ Don't see how this addresses the topic anyhow.
The left chose to defend the indefensible will soon come to the realization that hey " I could be next ". Do you lefties ever pause for a moment and say to yourselves: how many more people have to die by the hand of Islamists before I wake up and stop all of this PC garbage nonsense?
This crap again, do you guys really think pointing fingers is a proper way of addressing an issue? Pointing out the Bible having terrible verses doesn't change sh**, only shows that both religions have issues. Don't get what you guys are trying to accomplish with this, it surely doesn't paint a better picture of Islam.
This guy " dmoneygangbang " does not know jack about the Bible. To understand the meaning and wisdom of God, you must pray so the Holy Ghost can guide you, if you read it like a regular book, it will not work.
Actually no, let's say i.e : what if all the terrible news influenced your decision/perception of Islam pre-matuerly ! well in Islam you're not to be blamed, it's those who committed wrong doing, you're totally excused It was a dialogue that addressed different topics in that chapter, all were overlooked with an exception to one verse that may some assumed it did encourages violance! Btw: there is NO single verse allow aggression, all the verses that were brought are in self defense situations
A little history lesson for you lefties that chose to align with Islam. Do you know that Islam tried to turn India into an Islamic state and killed more than 80 million Hindus and raped hundred thousands of Hindus women? Imagine India with its 1 billion plus population as an Islamist state; your worst nightmare just came through. It is not just Christianity that Islam has a problem with. Islam has a problem with all of the world religions. BTW-Afghanistan used to be a peace loving Buddhist country......imagine that.
But that's exactly my point, what gives you the insight to say my opinion is based on "terrible news" or other kinds of manipulation? Is it impossible to acknowledge that someone maybe looked at the Quran, ISIS, certain Muslim communites and decided it is a problematic religion that encourages violence and oppression? I was actually pro-Islam up until I decided to actually do more research on the book.
Addressing the issue? Is that what you think you've been doing? It seems you've been doing the "my religion is better than this religion". Well it's clear you've exhausted all your arguments. Take care.
BS ,do you know why!(assuming you don't know it already) The commander of Muslims army that conquered India was put to death after a trial where he was accused of raping a women & Most of Indian subcontinent became Muslims as result of trade relation with what is today (Oman) ,a state not known to have a significant personals or army
Is that why the Bible Belt is overwhelmingly for the death penalty? Funny how reading a book gives them a moral right to dispense life and death judgement....
