Harden is sad....I feel for the guy. He has played has ass off.

If he comes out in this series, and plays possessed, If he plays with a chip on his shoulder, passionately and angrily, i'll change my tune on Harden.

    I'M SERIOUS.

Only? even when the season started the OKC even without Durant were projected to be a top 4 seed and us at best finish 7th or 8th. So wtf is that logic you put forward?

So after he has carried this team into the third seed when the rockets were projected to be at best an 8th seed and has never missed the playoffs in his time when the rockets has not been enough for you? people like you will never be happy.

    Good thing to say

And Ty Lawson played better than all of his Rockets games combined

    you're absolutely right!

we're so lucky to be the 3rd best team in the league despite of harden's heartless and unpassionate play

we would be ahead of the spurs and gsw if it weren't for heartless and unpassionate harden

harden is no doubt the one holding pbev, ariza, anderson, capela, gordon, williams back

you're criticizing a guy not because of his performance on the court or how he interacts with the team but instead because of his natural born personality and demeanor. that's moronic

Westbrook is a fine choice for MVP. He has been insane this year, and I am okay with Harden not winning it. Let's stay under the radar, where we belong. Let the media doubt us and disparage us. That has ALWAYS been best for the Houston Rockets. Make them eat their words and win, resulting in sweet silence in the playoffs. I'm dying to see Harden/Lou/Bev/Trev/EG/Ryno all go off on the same night, and for multiple nights in a row. It hasn't happened yet, but If EVERYONE gets it going at once, put the league on red alert...

Stay sneaky. Harden will get recognized when he has 30k points and 10k assists in the bank, a championship, a jersey retirement, and a HOF first ballot vote. Winning is the hard part of that and truly the only thing that matters.

Westbrick over here, Westbrick over there, Westbrick everywhere! The hype is almost getting to Curry level...not quite but close! BSPN has no shame...Why can't they hype Harden for once? They always downplay Harden...talk down about Harden...downplay his achievements....with Harden there's always a BUT! But but but but!! Give the man his due...give him the respect he deserves!! Why can't Harden get the Curry Westbrick treatment? People need to know the great player he his...the people need to know!! I'm tired of the BSPN Shaqtin a fool lies about Harden! Harden does play defense! He’s not a flopper! He gets fouled so much and the refs won’t call it! He is a leader! He took the Rockets to playoffs every year since he got here! Last year was not Hardens fault! The idiot coach and the Diva were holding Harden back! How can you not give Harden the MVP? You’re disrespecting the game by not giving Harden the MVP! Stat-padders do not deserve MVP. Players who take their team to the 3rd best record in the NBA deserve MVP! They said Rockets were 7th or 8th seed at best...Rockets have overwhelming surpassed expectations and you still won’t give Harden the MVP. Harden plays the game the way it’s supposed to be played...he doesn't care who scores as long as it’s the Rockets...but you're going to give it to a ballhog stat-padder?! Shame on you...shame on you voters! SHAME!

Harden: "I thought winning was the most important thing"

Yes, that's true until this season. Things change all time. Situations cause evaluations to change. There is no fixed criteria it seems.

    Remember everything is #fluid.

Now, a part of me still believes the voters will do you right. They will let the polls do the talking just like our elections.

OTOH, if you do lose out to Russ, please just obliterate OKC in the playoffs and just be you. Don't go into selfish stats first mode next season in pursuit of the MVP

My first priority is Houston Rockets wins so yes winning will always be the most important. If while winning, you get MVP, so be it, congratulations. If not, just keep winning

Wondering if you realize how unintelligent and hollow that "right but why does what you think matter?" Post is

You dissapeared like a coward when I called you out on it in the thunder vs rockets thread.

You got clowned and had no intelligent response. All you could come up with is "im your daddy" or " you touch yourself"

So you think im a dick for saying people shouldnt want westbrook injured, you are a coward who wouldnt respond to my callout in the thunder vs rockets thread, and you are an unintelligent poster. It all makes sense now.

Can't blame him, after being snubbed for All NBA he has to start feel like he's not appreciated.

And he now knows winning isn't but the most important thing.

He's gonna leave to LA if he really wants that MVP

Not sure if you are talking about Harden or the fans. I assume you are talking about Harden whining. I don't think you can call that whining answering a question like that. But I am with you that the MVP talk is tiresome. I wish the players, the media, and the fans stopped focusing on individual awards and stats and started focusing on the playoffs.

I really don't care about the MVP thing or the triple double thing. I just want to see the Rockets beat the heck out of OKC in the first round and take on the Spurs next.

BTW, Calvin Murphy said last night in the postgame that Westbrook is MVP and that Harden and the Rockets need to worry about the playoffs and not some individual award.

We 'play the game' to win; it's why 'we keep score'.

BTW - - please raise your hands 'out there' if you tho't Anderson and/or Gordon were good pick-ups for a contending team? If you knew who Capela was? Who was trading their guys for any Rox last summer? 41 wins was the max predicted 'back then', yes?

So, absolutely tip your hat to Westbrook who has had an entertaining and amazing season. He has been a force of nature. Russ is worth MVP consideration. Now, about this very valuable winning thing...
