I like it, bill. Nobody was feeling sorry for us except our fans when they robbed giles of an out which led to his meltdown on Thurs. win is a win.

Great thing is that it happened in time to catch the Rockets game as well. Thanks 'Stros!

Really only one game off their "should be" pace.

Good late inning comebacks this homestand.

I suppose the big picture is necessary here. 4-3 on a 7 game homestand isn't catastrophic. However, our bats NEED to wake up with RISP, and quickly.

We know from last year what digging a hole early can do to your season. Have to avoid doing it again at all costs. Guys who still arent producing by the end of our next series need to be moved in the batting order or given a several day vacation on the bench or in the minors.

This team isn't striking out at an alarming rate like they did in recent years (they actually have the lowest K rate in the entire league) but they're also consistently:

    1. hitting balls right at people
    2. hitting balls right into the ground

Anyway... the Mariners just blew a 9-3 lead in the 9th to walk off with a 10-9 loss in Anaheim.

Good win. Better situational hitting is key going forward.

I was hella surprised when I did the math, but a 4-3 pace over the course of the entire season would yield 92 wins.

I know. SSS. Just saying. All is certainly not lost.

Good thing we won today, though. Otherwise we were going 69-93 BOOK IT!

I think all fans get in a bad mood after losses. It just depends on how long it lasts.

I was speaking more on a "my team is bad, so my life is bad" perspective.
