Or maybe he knew that Romo was considering retirement and wanted to be sure he was ready to play

Love Foreman he'd be the perfect compliment to Miller.

I'd rather have Conner. Similar back and can be had probably two rounds later.

One way to help Savage or whoever is back there is to improve the run game. Being 2nd to last in Redzone TDs isn't going to cut it.

I really wish they upgraded the tight end position. A tight end is a young QBs best friend.

The draft is filled with TE talent we will for sure draft a TE.

That's very unlikely actually. Fiedorowicz is locked in at TE1 and Griffin is locked in as TE2. If we draft someone it'll almost certainly be with a VERY late pick and it'll be due to having no faith in Stephen Anderson to hold down TE3 responsibilities.....which are almost non-existent.

I hope the Texans will sign Greg Ward. I don't think he will be drafted, can be had for cheap, a lot of bang for the buck. He has enormous potential as a pass receiver and punt returner. He isn't "big," but is a low-risk choice.

I see him as a poor man's Braxton Miller, I'm all for giving him an invite to camp, but I don't see how he'd make the team given the depth at WR.

I kind of disagree about him being a punt returner though because he doesn't have the speed for that IMO.

We have one of the better TE cores and I think the running backs we have, Hunt specifically is a threat. The problem is running them up the middle of the north wall with this transition to the "power" running game. Imagine a 2 yard pass to hunt in open space without a holding penalty.

Oh yeah because teams are just so scared of CJ and Ryan smh....I bet when teams face us opposing coordinators start the meeting by saying ok guys we need to focus on 87 and 84. I also bet they can't sleep at night because they are worried of our TE group.

Keep hope alive that they'll draft an upgrade over Stephen Anderson at TE3 if you like, but you are most likely setting yourself up for failure and disappointment

With this being one of the best TE classes no way we don't draft a TE.

To do what? Be the inactive 3rd string guy all of this season and maybe start playing the season after that in the event that CJ Fiedorowicz isn't re-signed? Really? That's where we want to use our draft picks? It kind of seems like everyone wants to use picks on players with little to no chance to play this season be it a QB or TE and that's just weird.

I see what you are saying, but didn't he have a 4.4 40? Also, he is reputed to have great hands. Seems to be worth a try on the cheap. We need a decent QB to really find out what we have at receiver.

O'Brien loves him some CJF, Griffin just got re-signed. They really like Anderson. Yeah, they're not drafting a tight end this year. They have to draft a QB, Olineman, safety, and CB. They are likely to draft an OLB to replace Simon and a RB to back up Lamar. Six picks right there.

If the BPA by far is a playmaking TE, I can see us taking him.
