What a frreaking joke these umps have been since the last game vs mariners. Why even jave the clock rule. I want to hit the umps and kcs manager with a pie like in the old s.i bloopers vhs tapes
This! I was taught in little league to end up on the bag when you slide and it stuck with me through high school. Why the hell do so many major leaguers go sliding over the bag and even leave it in the hands of the ump?
Springer, the starting pitching and julia have all been phenomenal to start the season. On the base paths, it's desperation that has them going on suicide missions. Usually it's just altuve thinkinh he can out run everything.
Poor situational hitting, poor base running, etc. Just poor lack of attention to details overall. This team doesn't do a lot of the little things well enough.
Solo hrs or bust so far, actually thought for a second Springer got it all ugh another frustrating inning
Last inning is a perfect example of the difference between a well coached team and a mediocre to bad coached team. The Royals were able to manufacture a run off of McCullers who has been much better than their pitcher and the Astros in typical fashion squander another great opportunity to at the very least tie the game.
10 straight balls to open up the bottom of the 5th and NOTHING. What in the hell is wrong with these guys. They lost the game right there.
Astros offense leads the AL with 12 double plays. Let's get a hit with runners on. And don't get thrown out.
It's easy to jump on the team now, but think they have known about, and still have not addressed; mental mistakes plate discipline situational hitting and situational ops finding an ace or a big bat So for me, it's not surprising to see them fall into the same holes they fell into the last two years. Good ball club. Could even win the division, but they have some barriers to success right now they have not addressed. On the plus side they are a fun team with good energy.
Same feast or famine/HR or bust offense I've GROWN TO HATE! Spoiler 3-0 W Springer HR Correa HR Correa sacrifice fly; Bregman score 2-1 W McCann HR Marwin HR 5-3 W Springer double; 2 R scored Springer 3-R HR 4-2 L Springer HR Marwin HR 5-1 L Beltran double; Correa score 7-3 L McCann HR Gonzalez single; Correa score Gonzalez ground out; Beltran score 3-1 trailing Springer HR And when the three HR isn't dropping flying out the park...?
Offense! Offense! WHERE IS IT??? All I see is either 1 run or 2 runs and that's it. I'm not watching the Astros anymore right now. Rockets playoffs are about to start and I rather watch that then come back to see how this sorry offensive team does in mid May.
