Finally! You honestly think it doesn't affect some people's personal lives? I used to get in a foul mood the night of and next day after a bad loss, it was unreasonable even to me. I've gotten more numb to it lately. Maybe I was flawed though. Professional sports is certainly a way of life for some people. Also I'm in the boat of why the hell does Hinch keep forcing Marisnek into the lineup?
Derek Fisher is off to a great start in the minors. He may be call up soon iuf the bats continue to struggle. Kyle Tucker needs to hurry up, and get up to the Majors; is it 2018, yet ?!
The "HTX" trend is so annoying. Stop trying to make Houston Austin! We are, and always will be, "HOU".
Part of me wants to take a page out of Maddon's book, who hits Schwarber and Bryant leadoff and 2nd, respectively. Clearly, neither is a prototypical leadoff or 2 hole hitter. They're basically CHC's best OBP guy and most feared hitter in the 1-2 slots. So, something along the lines of: Altuve Correa Springer Beltran Bregman Reddick McCann/Gattis Yuli/Marwin Aoki/Marisnick Just playing devil's advocate. Its too early to tinker with the lineup, everyone needs time to settle into their current slots/roles, but I wouldn't mind that construction in a few weeks if we're still pressing/struggling on offense.
We've faced an inordinate number of lefties here in the early going. Reddick is useless against them and Marisnick is only slightly less awful, so that's been a dead lineup spot. Maybe Reddick can get going. However that doesn't explain why the rest of the lineup has been so terrible.
Weren't we unusually bad against lefties last year as well despite a number of strong right handed bats? I have no research to back up that claim.

Castro and Rasmus were abysmal, but they are both gone. Gomez was terrible against everybody, but he too is gone. Correa hit lefties fine in 2015, and I doubt there are many historical examples of a righty struggling against lefties. Aside from Reddick, there is no tangible statistical data that this team should have any problem against lefties.
How is our base running this bad year after year and no changes are made to the staff. It really is utterly ridiculous how many outs we run into.
