I would feel better about 3-3 if it was some random pitchers that blew it. But instead it was Giles that two nights ago and now Gregerson in this one.

Not to mention their highest scoring game was when Springer had 5 RBIs. Literally nobody is producing runs right now.

Glad our squad doesn't have to face the best Lefty Specialist

If I liked turds, then I would walk in your backyard. Come on, Astros. Pick it up, please.

The quality of posts after losses really goes down the drain. A few outliers, but good points are few and far between.

Gregerson's ERA might be respectable by August.

Haven't been able to post much

But my God, you are right on the money here. Jake should barely be on the team, it's freaking nuts with our roster that he starts 3 times already. We would be better as a team and organizations if he was cut, if the choice is either cut or start half the games

He is NOT a legitimate major league caliber starter on a championship contender

Huh? Gregerson had the 2nd highest swing and miss % in baseball last year.

I'm not a Hinch basher, think he does a really good job keeping the clubhouse in the right frame of mind, which is super important in baseball

But first sign of Luke having trouble, should have been pulled. Our pen is so deep, no need to let one guy struggling completely ruin a game

Giles is a K beast, yet hasn't proven being a good closer either.

Truth is... 1) Astros are currently the healthiest they are likely to be all season. 2) We are .500 with Keuchel not pitching again for a week. We're not really .500.

Still early, but we need taking advantage of the moment.

You cant blame people for being upset when expectations are so high.

    Who said I was.

Some of you guys really need to lighten up a little. I used to cry over Rockets losses and got mad as hell over Astros losses in grade school.

But, last year's Astros taught me that getting mad about results not going my team's way doesn't do much for my well-being. So instead of spending nights getting mad on the Internet about sports... I just found other things to do. Got out of the house, worked out.... basically, I did anything to try to clear my head. It's done wonders.

I'm well aware of the expectations surrounding this team. I just think 6 games is a bit too early to determine whether they've achieved, exceeded, or failed those expectations. Apparently, most of the posters here don't share that feeling. Oh well. Maybe I just don't get mad about sports as easily as I used to anymore...

The Astros really haven't shown us anything yet. By the end of the month, we'll see what they're good at and what they're not good at. Seriously, just try to hang in there until May rolls around and you'll see their strengths and weaknesses take shape.

3 up 3 down. What a bummer. I'm still pleased with our starting pitching. I'm actually kind of relieved, because I was a bit nervous about it before the season started. It's still early, but so far that looks good.

Agreed. I think this team can endure Colin McHugh's extended absence... of course the bats need to wake up

What's funny is that Gregerson and Giles are both fine relievers. Tonight was statictally the worst outing of Gregerson's career. Think about that. 9 seasons. In hindsight, Hinch should've pulled him a tad sooner, but he will be fine. Pitchers have poor outings. It happens. It's a long f'ing season. It's April 7th. Not every reliever is Britton, Miller, or Chapman. We're going to be just fine. Gregerson is a far better reliever than a majority of others. Fact is, our bullpen is a strength, our hitters need to settle in, and our rotation is young, strong and rested. Luhnow has created a good roster, and maybe they need to gel a bit.

I understand being upset. No one enjoys a loss. I think some posters just want more rational commentary.

LMAO at this High Horse post.

How did last year's team teach you anything when you acted the EXACT same way last season? You act like fans can't say anything except roses.

The fact you conclude Astros results are affecting posters personal lives is more silliness. Fans are disappointed at a subpar start and posted their thoughts. That's it. Stop making leaps to satisfy your imagination.
