James Harden is gonna get screwed over again in MVP Voting

Nah, there shouldn't be any random stipulations. It should be based on whoever has the most compelling 'resume' if you will.

 

Westbrook is 0-11 with 5 turnovers and his team is down by 28 to the Suns in the 1st half

Harden having a 30 point triple double in a win would've helped, instead we got outscored 39-22 in the 4th by the Pistons...

 

wow, I can't believe the level of approval being given for Westbrook's stat hunting

the Suns' announcers are basically saying that he should do whatever it takes to get the triple double tonight and getting on OKC players for not immediately shooting when they're passed the ball

Westbrook is refusing to shoot and passing up wide open shots in order to try and get an assist, and he's still in the game as they're down by 20+ with less than 3 minutes left

Westbrook chasing stats all 4th quarter was a disgrace to basketball. The triple double thing is a sham.

Well, today did not help either Harden and Westbrooke's case for MVP.

 

A game like this should really hurt Westbrook's case, but we all know that it won't. His team got blown out by the Suns, and his assist hunting in the 4th was some of the most blatant stat chasing I had ever seen.

 

Westbrook passed up this shot in order to pass it to Adams and try and get an assist...dude is wide open and Dudley isn't even trying to contest him but he still refuses to shoot it

LOL, wide open corner 3. The exact same shot that coaches draw up plays dreaming to get. That shot right there...

You have to wonder how many games did his stat chasing ruin for a team that was predicted to be better than the Rockets before the season...

 

It wasn't a good look for Russ tonight. It wasn't just this shot. It was shot after shot that he started passing up. He shouldn't have even been in the game at that point.

 

No one should act surprised. If you watch games (voters?) you already know Russ been doing this all season.

 

It's ridicules at this point, WB and thunder were blatantly stat padding in this game but people are still giving him free passes. No peep about it from the media, just a slurp fest still. Social media warriors coming out in droves either denying it was stat padding or saying who cares, he's trying to break a record. I see some people in the media admitting about his rebound freebies but they somehow turned it into a game plan of the thunder just giving it to him to start the break faster now. all the sport shows are now one big WB for MVP advertisement.

If Harden and the rockets were doing this crap, people would clown us and dismiss Harden accomplishments. And there would be multiple viral videos being spread around too. I normally don't get worked up about this stuff but Harden never had a chance. Gonna lose because he averages two less rebounds than WB who gets multiple freebie rebounds a game and "plays hard nonstop."

 

Harden never had a chance, the nba and media have been riding westbrook the whole year . Ever since Durant left OKC, the pitty party started for westbrook. If it was the other way around and harden was posting triple doubles and was the 7 seed, no one would be considering harden an mvp and call his number empty stats.

he's been getting blasted for it by fans who actually saw the game
