I don't drink but even when I did I wasn't rich enough to get drunk on $10 Budweisers. And if you're too drunk to walk to your car it's probably a bad idea to drive it.
Lol mild attempt at troll humor. I don't drink and drive nor is it possible to get drunk off $10 Budweiser's lol
Thanks for this thread. I haven't been to a game since the early '95 in the Summit, but very much want to make a Rockets-Spurs 2nd round game. I imagine nosebleeds for that series will be $100 or so... Can someone please comment on the upper deck views....does the Toyota Center fare reasonably well for an NBA arena, or is it better it to spend $200 for a lower level?
i've gotten drunk off 10 dollar budweisers my homie lives in midtown. its a 2 minute walk from a bus that drops you off a block by toyota center. last year when the rockest weren't very good, the late season ticket prices on flash seats were as low as 15 dollars. We would go and each spend like 40 dollars on beer. Overall it was a 55 dollar experience. pretty fun and safe cause we weren't driving (not that 4 beers would even mess me up that bad anyway) but it makes you feel like a complete idiot after for spending that much on beer. Now when I go to games I usually just buy 1 beer. But then again, now I usually spend 80 dollars on a ticket minimum lol
go for lower level. I always think its worth it to be closer. If you are too far away you will just stare at the big toyota center screen and then wonder why you aren't just watching it on TV.
for the playoffs prices will raise on the secondary market, not drop. they will sell out and become a hot ticket
I'm conflicted. I don't really want to pay $200-$300 for a ticket in the lower bowl, but I don't want to be in the nosebleeds either so I just might have to pay up.
I was thinking I'd get a 2nd round ticket (not guaranteed we make the 2nd round but I say 80 percent chance) but I really think it'd be better to see harden v westbrook rather than rockets v spurs. I already saw the harden kawhi game in san antonio early this year anyway.
Harden-Westbrook is a must-see for me. I'm trying to go to games 1 and 2. Hopefully I can find some good seats for a reasonable price. Harden and the Rockets always play well when I go to the game. My 1st game this season was the 53 point triple double against the Knicks
Pregame at doghouse tavern and take the rail to bell. I live in midtown and that's what I do. They have happy hour every day till 7
My season tickets are row 3 in sec 411 and i think they give you a great view. My suggestion is to try and be in a low row in the 4 middle side line sections.
Season ticket holder presale stated today. Rockets insider presale starts tomorrow (12th) @ 10am with general public on sale @ 2pm tomorrow (12th). The cheapest tickets i saw was $80 but i couldn't look for very long sine I'm at work.
As STH I was looking to get extra for family, the least expensive in lowers behind the goals were $159, but I did get upper corners for $79/ticket for family. I expect the price per ticket will be higher for Insiders plus fees. If they still have those $175 for lowers in Flashseat and you want to go, you should grab them!
Tickets when on sell for season ticket owners today. They were able to sell two extra tickets. Lower bowl going for 150+ Upper for 80+ This is from Toyota Center site. Flash seats prices will be.... pricey.
4 beers is a good start. Right after the 4 margaritas. www.flashseats.com you can bid on the tickets.
