Chris Paul is overlooked because he can't lead a team to the conference finals. Even so, many people recognize how talented he is.

The mass majority in the media are lobbying for Westbrook big time. Eddie House was on Undisputed today. He said Harden was a product of Mike D's system. He also said Harden had the better supporting cast than Westbrook. Sharp tried to plead his case for Harden. But dude kept interrupting Sharp and refuting everything he said. Everybody is stuck on the 40 years bullcrap. They are not factoring in the shot attempts, the shooting percentages or the turnovers. They ignore the blatant padding of stats. This piss poor defense so he could get the rebounds.

If OKC was #3 and Westbrook had harden's current numbers...westbrook would be the MVP...EVEN IF harden was posting a triple or quadruple double.

The argument against Harden would be: oh so what he has a triple double every night...his team is only 6th (in the conference) (10th in the league)..he is not helping the team win.

Also the fact that harden creates the most points per game ever is something that is overlooked by many. So he is doing something that has never happened before.

The "better supporting cast" argument is so stupid. They act like Harden is a part of some Big 3. Other than Harden, the Rockets have no former all star, current all star, or potential all star on the roster. This roster should not have the 3rd best record in the NBA, period. Westbrook's supporting cast isn't great, but he's not playing with a bunch of D-League bums either. I would rather have Oladipo than Gordon. I'd rather have Adams than Capela. I'd love to have Kanter as a bench big. Taj would help us a lot both defensively and on the boards. McDermott would be another 3 point shooter to add to our rotation. OKC has some guys who can play.

So I just noticed something funny and odd, if you look up the hashtag #mvp on Twitter. You'd notice the number 1 profile that pops up is Westbrook's...

The No.3 and No.6 seeds are impressive respectively. The former more than the latter for sure.

Neither guy has a legit allstar playing alongside him. We got the better shooters, they got better big men depth.

Let's not make it a turf war however respect the outcome. It will be tough.
