Agree for the most part on both of your points. However, if Gordon thinks he can't win a championship with Utah, or wants to join a team that has a more realistic chance of competing for a championship, it does open the door to him leaving. In that case, I could easily see him talking to the Warriors, Spurs, Houston, Cleveland, Toronto and Boston. Boston has a bright future with a ton of picks and Cleveland could easily ship out Kevin Love to be able to sign Gordon. I think, whether or not Gordon stay in Utah depends on Utah's ability to sign quality free agents. If Utah can't sign any quality free agents, I see Gordon bolting with the most likely destination being Boston since they have high draft picks they could offer Utah in a sign and trade. After Boston, I think Houston has a good of a shot as any team, if not better in being able to sign Gordon.
How annoying would it be to get sloppy seconds on iggy while golden state replenishes with some desperate high quality FA at a discount
2008 Iggy would be the one I would pick up, just need to go find a time machine now. Screw it, If i find a time machine I will go back and get us Hakeem.
why go through all that trouble when jerry lin is still in his prime? just overpay for lin = championship!
You and most other sane people. Harden is in his prime whilst Capella has not even reached it and those two are better then anything Utah has to build around.Rockets are going to be good for the next 4 to 6 years
Hayward is pipe dream tho, if he was to leave the Jazz I believe he would be more willing to reunite with his former college coach in Boston rather than joining the rockets.
That's cool but I would rather shoot for the moon Sign Paul George and bench Ariza Sign Anthony Davis and bench Ryan Anderson And we need to sign Gordon Hayward too Harden Hayward Paul George Anthony Davis Capela Bench: 6th man: @FTW Rockets FTW 7th man: paulwtfk 8th man: @Jontro 9th - 15th: Doesn't matter Water boy: @swyyyguy Towel boy: _holic CHAMPIONSHIP
Why would Boston trade its valued picks for a player they can sign outright? And Utah won't atttract super quality free agents. They won't be able to afford it after overpaying to keep Hill.
if hayward leaves its to join his college coach in boston for a real chance at making the finals. i dont think the warriors can resign iggy this summer unless he takes a huge discount for them. he would be a great fit, and although he's old he may put us over the top. iggy is looking to play for a contender. he'll probably only consider the warriors, spurs, celtics, cavs, and rockets. and only us and the C's have enough money to take him away from the warriors.
I remember when we were debating if we should get Iggy back when we had our mediocre team but now Iggy is 33 so i'd pass on him.
Calling now . Dekker and Harrell develop shots and become the starting 3/4 next year . It's gonna be awesome . We have four 6 man of the year caliber players off the bench. Repeat as champions
U acting like the rockets have 100 million in cap space Iggy only leaving warriors for a 15+ mill And Hayward is worth more than parsons
