I would like to see him in the huddle with everyone. But he does run the huddle right before leaving the lockerroom...we've seen that. Lebron and the Cavs also didn't even do player intros (last year?), to focus on the lockerroom huddle.
It's true. And look at the results. A season in shambles, role players are not playing hard for him, and Harden is putting up empty stats while others with similar talent are being mentioned as MVP candidates. On a serious note, I don't like the mindset, but it's not about what I like. It's about winning. And if you think we can win more than we've won, you are flat out an idiot. Whatever has been happening with the team has resulted in the best imaginable outcome this season. So if Harden hasn't been part of the huddle, then he better continue staying the F out of the huddle.
It is bad leadership examples like that the Rockets are on pace for a 56 wining season and have finished 3rd in the west whilst being the biggest surprise packet of the season. Not to mention we will have the best offensive season in the Rockets history in terms of points per game as well.
Harden has been doing this for year this isn't new. He daps up everyone then they huddle and he runs to the bench does his little running in place thing and proceeds to talk to coach before the tip. Some of you guys complain about every little thing. This is a non story. Hardens a pretty good leader, how I know this is because his teammates genuinely like him his past teammates genuinely like him. He is becoming more vocal this season forsure but to cite this as a reason to question his leadership when he's been the guy scheduling offseason mini camps team dinners and getting his guys involved in actual games, is really dumb. Harden has been fantastic all year. The team and his play has been better than anyone could have expected. Not even the biggest homer thought we would have the 3rd best record in the NBA better than the Cavs with 4 games till the playoffs. And harden is the biggest reason for that. We need to all appreciate what we have in James. The grass is not greener on the other side.
lol yea harden has done this ever since he's been on the Rockets, don't know about OKC. it's probably his ritual to do something while sitting down on the bench
I know there is always a captains meeting prior to tip off. Is it possible he's leaving the huddle for the captains meeting between teams and the refs? There was a story about how Beverley had Troy Williams do the captains meeting for the game that Harden missed with the flu.
He's supposed to be the franchise player and we're sitting here talking about the HUDDLE. We're talking about a HUDDLE. Not a game! Not a game! Not a game! We're talking about the Huddle. Not the actual game... we're talking about a HUDDLE! How silly is this man!? We're talking about a HUDDLE! What are we talking about??? A HUDDLE??!?!
