Russ is beasting right now. His percentages have been steadily rising

    45/10/9/5 today

    14/25 and career high 8/13. And a W.

The Rockets need to do the smart thing and concede the MVP to Westbrook. He needs to sit for a few games and get refreshed.

Westbrook didn't get a triple double so the game didn't count. ESPN likely won't cover it. That's what this season has taught me anyways.

Westbrook is a beast in the clutch...I don't think that was ever the case until this season

once the game is close in the 4th, dude just does not miss

James will have to settle for Players MVP, 1st team All-NBA & eliminating Russ in the first round.

that was ages ago, all I can remember from Russ is 4th quarter explosions and game winners...his jumper goes from below average to elite once the 4th quarter starts

What if the Rockets close with a 3-1 finish and wind up 56-26 which would be the 3rd best record in the NBA(Cleveland and Boston each have 27+ losses at this point)? Can they seriously give the MVP to a guy whose team will at best have 49 wins?

Harden isn't injured & he drops that stat line tonight.

Gotta give credit where credits due, what a close to the season WB's having.

harden had an excellent game and carried the rockets who had a poor shooting night (also had 3 blocks) and of course the media is silent becuase they have their mind made up that russ will win MVP by all cost.

i mean i give westbrook all the props but the coverage of this "mvp race" is so hilariously one-sided.

like they don't even want to entertain the thought of harden winning mvp over westbrook.

Harden should hold a press conference and just tell the voters to **** off. Same people who left him off the all nba teams. Seriously **** them and their votes since they clearly don't know how to use their vote anyway.

Yes. I want to see if Morey's plan to beat the Warriors works or not.

nobody can talk **** about that lol

he's good. westbrook is really good. There's no denying that. who cares who wins mvp.

I'm getting to the point where I won't even be salty if westbrook takes it because he's a damn good player also. I hope for harden and I believe that I can make a more compelling argument for harden but it's not like harden is getting shafted if he doesn't win.
