I don't mind losing this game. It gets Denver closer to the 8th seed and creates a (hopefully) tough matchup for golden state in the first round.

No confirmation from Feigen, yet. But seems so if Troy is starting and Eric goes back to 6th man. Ariza was at shootaround, so he will start at PF.

So, by process of elimination, Harden is the PG.

The most interesting/exciting thing about this game will be to see what happens with Troy Williams.
Does he prove he belongs as a legit rotation player, or was it just a one game fluke against one of the worst teams in the league?
And how will he perform when out on the floor with a Harden.
And how does MDA work the rotation now with Dekker out. Does Harrell get more PF time?

Of course, the win, to lock up the #3 for good, will be nice, too.

EDIT: As I was posting that the above tweets came out. So MDA is going with Bev, Harden, Williams, Ariza, Capela. Very interesting. Though I guess that had to be option 1, since Gordon really seems less effective as a starter and Williams played so well, and MDA seems dead set on not having Harrell out there much as a PF given his lack of a 3 point shot. Will be very interesting to see...

I don't see how they'll be able to challenge GS or make things tough for them at all. Their defense is just atrocious. They're last in the NBA in defensive efficiency. GS will probably average over 130 in a series against them.

Nope. Harrell hasn't play one minute of PF this year. MDA will not put two, non-shooting bigs out on the court together.

So, I wouldn't use words like "more" and "as much" as a PF, since he is yet to do it once.

and here is what MDA said about Troy. I take this as meaning even the backup SF needs to help space the floor, more than Brewer or KJ did, else he'll get less time now that we have Lou/3Guards to take those back-up SF minutes that Brewer got.

"We can play Trevor at the four," coach Mike D'Antoni said. "We just need somebody in there. I don't know if he can play this way. I want to go a little bit slow. I don't want to put too much on him to do that again. He needs to learn our system. We have five games left. We'll see. We'll go slowly. I don't want to get too excited, but he was good (Sunday.)"

    Trap game.

    Nugs fighting for 8th seed.
    Rockets pretty much locked up

Will be interesting to see T Williams as a 3 with Ariza at the 4?
And then with Harden and Bev. Should be fun to watch if nothing else

I really like the addition of Williams. Young guy, hungry for minutes and just trying to prove he belongs, playing free ball. Not getting caught up in Rockets drama, are we good, can we beat GS, blah blah. I think we win by double digits tonight

The stars aligning for Troy Williams
Goes from being cut, to signed 10 day, to signed for season.
Then from DLeague to NBA bench to starter all within a months' time.
Amazing how the basketball gods can change fortunes so quickly.
Can take you from the outhouse to the penthouse right away if the shots are falling.
Sam Dekker on the other hand. . . . (pardon the pun)

Man who cares about mvp. Who is the movie three years ago? You had to think a little bit right if you remembered. and what about before that? but I can tell you which teams won a championship

after seeing how Russell Westbrook gets his rebounds, I think there is no question he's no longer in the race. The only argument he's in the racist because hes averaging a triple doubles.take away his rebounds and his performances are kind of bad when you look at his shooting percentages and wins and losses and turnovers.

wins and losses don't really support his case not to win. because when he does get triple doubles they win more often than not. Harden's team just wins more. That doesn't mean wb doesn't. hes just wins less.

We did it for a little bit on sunday. Altough I wouldn´t hold that argument given that exact game absences (Ryno + Ariza + Harden) + Injury (Dekker). But it showed he is at least open to see how Trez 3pt shot looks in game.

I think we are going to have a big Harden game tonight. I´m sure he is feeling mvp momentum is moving. And tonight Russ is probably going to break the record. Be ready! I hope for a big basketball night.

Oh snap.... Got you bro!!! :)
but really... Harrell played at PF in the last game, finally! All of his 12 minutes were played alongside Nene.

Wasn't exactly a success, though if you look at his play individually, though the team was +5 in his time (in what was ultimately a +7 game).

    "It is, what it is."

Rest isn't going to help Harden. He just needs "time." Might as well play.

We'll all be watching how well Harden shoots tonight. I hope he is judicious with picking his spots on 3 pointers.

I am also going to be watching how well Harden "finishes at the rim" on drives.
