He induces more groundballs than any pitcher in baseball (not named Keuchel) so expect the infield too be busy
More than his hip. I'm optimistic about Morton, and think he is going to give us some great starts, I just realize he'll probably get hurt at some point.
Haha welp, I wasted my one call in game 2 of the season. Not really wasted, as Marwin's HR ended up being the game winner, but you know what I mean. Y'all are going to have to pick me up for the rest of the 160 games, and I'll try to save my mojo for September/October. Let's go Astros, earn it!
We're just two games in, so I am definitely trying to temper my expectations, but what a great start to the season. My two biggest concerns coming into the year were Keuchel and McCullers. They both have ace potential, but they were also hurt/ineffective last year. If they stay healthy and pitch to their capability (hell, even if they pitch 75% of their ceiling), we should be in great shape. Both were tremendous. Also, on another note, how about this when McCann hits a HR or does something good: Yes.Mc.Cann! (sports is the last place for politics in my opinion, so I'm not making a political statement one way or the other, but I do think it has a nice ring to it)

If harden aint playing, then bouncy ball gets the commercial breaks. Also looking forward to morton, hope he can break the injury prone label.
I like it, but typically pitching and [getting] lit is not a great combo, so my early go-to for Morton is: I'm looking forward to Morton making the M's salty tonight. Alright folks, y'all have been a great audience!
McCullers looked filthy last night. Best stuff in the league filthy. Watching the game, nothing was hit hard off of him at all. I'd love to see the statcast numbers, but really it seemed like damn near every ball in play was softly hit, and all but 1 or 2 was a grounder / chopper. Only reason his pitch count was up there was pure bad luck. If he can stay healthy there's no reason he won't be in the Cy Young conversation. If Morton is as good as his spring training / rumors indicate...our weakness could be this year's strength. Hard not to get excited.
