Rick Reuschel may be the closest but I remember him being really solid for a few years, Cubs and Pirates maybe, then he just kind of bounced around iirc. So have we determined that Scott Feldman is the weakest 3-team OD starter in baseball history? Oddly enough, that's actually something to be really proud of. He's had a good career, those other guys you named are all HOF or Hall of Very Good.
Edison Volquez has done it 5 times for 4 franchises. He made an all-star team early in his career, but has been a below average pitcher most of his career.
I saw that he had started the opener this year, and figured he might have with the Royals and/or Reds. Completely forgot his time with the Padres.
And the pitching staff he catches has allowed 2 runs in 18 innings. Stupid Hinch. I TOLD Molitor he was getting a good catcher.

To a degree, he was doing that last year. Castro had a great walk rate. Why pitchers don't attack him in the zone more is a good question.
Castro has done a great job with MIN's pitchers, too. MIN was 3-0 before today's L, with combined 5 runs allowed in those games. He threw out a baserunner today by a mile, too. I hope Castro does well in MIN. I have no ill-will with him, and he always received a lot of unnecessary hate in HOU. His best (and probably healthiest) years were during our rebuilding phase. If your organization relies on a catcher for offense, cue the SouthPark "you're gonna have a bad time" meme. The lineup's struggles weren't wholly the catcher's fault; you have to look at the construction of the entire team. Past lineups have been ridden with streaky hitters who more often than not struggled with contact. There were few efficient outs in years past. Hopefully that changes with Reddick, Bregman, Beltran, Aoki, and Yuli getting more reps. Much better vibes than whining over specific scapegoats. Regardless, Castro was a fantastic catcher outside of hitting, he always seemed to be a great teammate and even better citizen. I hope he doesn't get boo'ed in his return.
