the media already made up thier mind that westbrook is the mvp. if having more wins than the thunder, overachieving from what people thought you would finish before the season, winning the head-to-head match up 3-1, among a slew of other things didn't have him as the clear favorite, then nothing will. us rockets fans need to just come to terms that the media has some sort of vendetta against harden.
maybe play until we get 56th win. 52 wins now, 5 games left. next 3 can win if they dont screw around, then clippers, then wolves. can win all remaining games ifthey dont screw around. probably will so limit it to one game, 4-1 next 5. 56 win season. mavs not in playoffs, **** the mavs.
No, he does not need to play. He needs to be healthy for the playoffs not win an individual award that won't even be announced until after the season (right?). The dude's shooting wrist is sprained. He needs a few days of rest.
healthy Harden >>>>> stupid award chasing, if he plays now just for the award, he's no better than stat padding westbrook. The award is given after playoffs now anyway, I'd rather we focus on something that actually matters
Jordan also chased stats, not every game but he did. Every star guy in the NBA chased stats at one point in their career. I do not think it should be seen as a negative only if it is not hurting but helping the team. Whatever the name is. Some player just did it more extremely. That's all. You can chase stats while being a team leader. Not mutually exclusive either.
