Asked by the Orlando Sentinel for comment, Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said the lists are “not indicative of plans” and were “simply listing options, including some of which other teams have inquired about.”
not at all. Cp3 is too smart to want to play next to harden. Those two players do not compliment each other at all. Their skill sets are redundant. You wanna take harden off the ball again? None of those guys are catch and shoot players. It would be wiser to build this team another way. Hardens status as ball dominant guard is cemented on this team
Also cp3 is not a top 7 player anymore. Durant, harden, westbrook, james, steph, leonard, davis all better In terms of finding another star, anthony davis, kevin durant, jimmy butler, paul george all better fits. We prolly wont get any of them but those are better targets to pair up with james
Yes, we have a team that fits perfectly, and we are clearly inferior to teams with more talent. You have to add premiere talent when you can. They compliment fine, Paul can do everything Beverley does, and Paul is good enough where he can actually share the ball handling with Harden, it makes the whole unit more sustainable, not to mention a boost to when Harden is on the bench. Davis is certainly not better than Paul and when you leave hype world, Westbrook probably isn't either. None of those other guys are even options/available, so you have offered no better alternatives. You don't pass on premiere talent that would want to come here for some pipe dream that isn't attainable.
Everytime I see Beasley's name now it just pisses me off.... Got a decent player on a cheap contract - and we just pissed it away for nothing... smh...
I still think he'd be better use of a roster spot than taylor or brown... heck getting ready for playoffs, and we're picking up guys from the D league and plugging them into the rotation...lol!
