You have to love this guy. He was extra hyped on the court, but in the locker room:

He's right though. They were playing without their best defensive rebounder and we hammered them on the offensive boards. A really solid win, but right now the Cavs are hardly the best team in the East.

Bev got so much love in the national media today. It's been dope to watch the perception shift from "scrub who hurt Russell Westbrook" to "every championship team needs a Patrick Beverley."

Beverley is what ever ball dominant wing wants in a fellow guard; a hard nosed defender with a never-ending motor who can hit the three at a high clip.

Either that or the second loss at San Antonio was our most devastating of the season... *sigh*

Other than that, I can support this thread and Patrick Beverley.

    "I love Patrick Beverley."

Patrick Beverley does something every game that makes me think that.

The numbers are clear. Bev should start over Harden. I'm serious.

This is the only team that really gave me a chance. And as long as I'm here, my loyalty stays here. I owe them a lot. I owe them my life for that, because they really helped me - they really saved my life, you know? - PBEV.

One of my all time favorite Rox Players.

If Beverley stays a Rocket his whole career, Les better retire his number.

He's way underpaid but doesn't complain, takes charges and gets up beating his chest like a silverback. Tenacious, loyal, and his game has improved every year.

Having said that, he should really stick to 3 and D. When he drives and tries a pocket pass, it's usually a turnover.

But that's MDA's system, drive and kick, drive and draw a foul or hit the lay up or the floater. Just seems like he turns the ball over a lot there in the lane trying to do too much.

if smart basketball fans played a game 'guess who's stats these are' they'd think bev's stats is a 6'8 6'9 small/point forward. they'd never think it was a 6'1 180lb pg!

His value might be high enough to trade for Rubio.

If Bev was Westbrook's height or 6'4 or 6'5 he'd be close to averaging a triple double as well. The only main downfall is his height, and that exposes a lot of his weaknesses.

But man could you imagine him being taller while keeping the same tenacity that he plays with???

    Holy crap

Love Bev -- always been a huge fan. Sometimes, when he's not playing well, I wish he would shutup (lol), but he really is the heart and soul of the team. Loved his reaction to this play...
