lol yes but him leaving allowed clyde to take off. him quitting on us was the best thing to happen that year. I was only 3 years old so I can't remember any of it but my dad always says how they became an inspired team when maxwell quit.

    He was weird about clyde

Did I say anything different? You're like a robot with these responses.

You said he played with a **** roster
Crap rosters don't have home court advantage in the playoffs

    The Rockets documentary explained everything
Also maxwell telling Clutch that he regrets it
Pretty much means he apologized to all of us

Name the Rockets rosters and boxscores he participated in the playoffs with and objectively tell me they weren't trash.
    Thanks.

How do trash teams get home court?
The issue with tmac was leadership not skill
He didn't make his teammates better
They wouldn't follow him to the end of the trenches

Look at how people talked about others in his era

I like how you worded your question to intentionally exclude 2009. 2009 was a loaded team. Too bad McGrady torpedoed it.

Funny how one of those "shittiest rosters of all-time" was good enough to be leading the Pistons 3-1 in the 2003 playoffs only to choke.

Question because I was too young to see it. Do you think they would've won the championship that year if maxwell didn't quit on us and leave?

    some people don't

Because that has nothing to do with him being responsible for playoff losses which he was a part of. Two separate topics.

Sorry, but no. It's the same topic. You can't claim he never had help and then ignore the season when he had plenty of help but literally chose not to show up.

    I hate what ifs
Maxwell coming off the bench would be like a better Patrick beverly with harden clutch shooting abilities
    Drexler was the better finisher

Maxwell was an emotional guy you know like Ron Artest

He wasn't healthy, no matter with surgery or not. People repeatedly state that the playoff losses are on him and that he choked, 2009 is an entirely different topic and has nothing to with his playoff performances.
Fact: He never had any meaningful help when healthy. Feel free to disprove my statement.

You should go back and read the discussions of that era
Especially when we got him and right after the playoffs

Not the first time that an overwhelming favourite struggled in a playoff series.
Look at that Orlando roster and tell me it ain't **** personnel-wise.

    McGrady had good teams
He was not good enough of a star to push them to victory
Yao Ming was a hall of famer

Name me a team with two hall of famers who can't win a first round series
