Well, now that's interesting. Was this really just something he wasn't able to get around to? Might explain why he sought immunity.
LOL... oh, "he just didn't get around" to complying with the requirement to disclose *those* financial dealings. Just like he didn't get around to complying with the requirement to filling out the ethics paperwork. Yes, I can see why you spring to his defense.
Geezus Christ... It says on the graph the source of research. Do your own homework if you want to comb through research and question it. Stop being lazy and asking me to work for you to prove your points for you. Your conclusion to the coal ministry was consumer spending due to savings on their electric costs. If consumer spending is the end all be all then you need to focus on what that means. Consumers electric bill cost frankly are 3rd, 4th, or 5th on the list of bills they pay monthly. Larger ones that make up the bulk of the costs per month are mortgage payments, student loans, and credit card debt. If consumer spending is the end all to your thesis there is a conversation around that but it deserves its own thread outside of the Russian thread. Go there and I'll comment further.
You don't get it! You posted a graph that showed solar was the most expensive LCOE, then your conclusion was that solar was "far and away more cheap".
Honestly he is so intellectually lazy and literally lazy that debating him is useless - he will make you do all the work and then question everything you do. He's trolling you - he's making you waste your time while he just sits back and takes shots at you. Bigotexxx never has ever once had an interest in engaging in any kind of real debate. Learn what the rest of us have learned - the only way to deal with him is to mock him for being a douche bag.
Bless your heart. You're trying hard to defend dobro after he got humiliated by me. He posted a graph showing solar as the highest LCOE, and then drew the conclusion it was the cheapest.
Oh please, coming from the man that thinks the reason Coal is in decline is because of liberals and not market forces you don't have many legs to stand on here. You're a partisan shrill who has never once taken a stand against the party line. You offer nothing in critical thinking and contribute 0 to the discussion. In fact, you take away from it. You are one of if not the worst poster here.
I frustrate you because you cannot refute me. You have to resort to name calling and putting words in my mouth. ...and poor dobro - hopefully he can pick himself up after he misread the graph he posted. Poor guy.
Still waiting on those calculations you asked me to do for you to prove your point for you. The future projections for cost prove that the investments are well worth it. Go read the report tell me the conclusion is that coal is the wave of the future and how lowering my electricity bill 10 bucks a month is going to send us in another golden age of economic boom (while gas prices at the pump are on the steady rise). Again this is the wrong thread for the topic so I won't comment to the topic again here so it doesn't further detail the Russia story. Lastly- I can misread graphs all day long and still sleep better at night knowing I'm not an old cranky bigot POS like you. Go watch Bill ORielly and get angry at liberals on your Sunday off to feel better about your miserable life.
That's them, not me. If you didn't read the article you posted, or the portion I quoted, I totally understand.
Connecting some more dots here, I hear Trump watched this video and gave it a like...... KGB confirmed!
Regardless of your feelings about bigtexxx and just regarding the chart that was posted.... it does show that coal is currently cheaper than wind, solar, etc.
Indeed. If dobro and sweet lou were smart they'd recognize their error and pick another battle. They're getting humiliated (again).
Trump's own envoy to the United nations disagree with Trump and his supporters belief about Russian efforts to influence the U.S elections... Haley Says Russia Was ‘Certainly’ Involved in U.S. Election https://www.bloomberg.com/politics/...russia-was-certainly-involved-in-u-s-election
^^ The things liberals are now clinging to...quite a stretch. Was Justin Trudeau also "involved" in the election by his advocacy for Hillary? Just LOL.
Shows how far republicans and other Trump supporters have sank... comparing a close ally as Canada and their PM's support of one candidate to Russian efforts to influence the US election (which may also have involved working directly with the other candidate they wanted to win).
There's some interesting information on these sites. Seems rather unbiased. Although I don't know how accurate their numbers are on for the statistics they link to and provide that show dropping of costs for the materials for wind and solar recently and in the future. It looks though that the actual construction for power plants that are being built is that coal is about %20 less. But there are less costs for producing kilowatts from then on. Couple that with with decreasing costs for the materials, and to whatever extent things become more efficient with absorbing a higher % of the sun's rays, and battery efficiency improving. I truly don't see how anyone could see coal as the "future". Perhaps in the VERY immediate future. But 5-10 years from now it's practically impossible. https://understandsolar.com/solar-energy-vs-coal/ http://energyinnovation.org/2015/02/07/levelized-cost-of-energy/
Oh you don't frustrate me, you're more of a ball of yarn that I got tired of playing with a long long time ago. The amusement with this stuff has worn off. As for debro and the coal argument vs renewable - of course coal is cheaper than renewables - it doesn't take a chart to know that. And it doesn't take a chart to know that coal is more expensive than natural gas and that is why it's in decline. But you don't care about points. Refute you? Haha, you don't even consider the opposing view. You can't even debate! Name calling? That's what have been doing! Yes poor Dobro - his error was actually trying to argue against you when you have no interest to actually having a debate. That makes him a fool. And it makes you a troll.
