Don't do this ****. The suicide rate in Houston was about to go up immensely.

Harden would have to be dead for him to miss the rest of the season. A true warrior

I think they meant don't joke about Harden being injured. Bad karma.

Are you superstitious or just a little bit stitious?

Anyway, I don't believe in jinxes, curses, luck (good or bad), black magic, the force, or anything else fans do that could possibly impact the day to day activities of sporting events or players. We have no control over it, bro. Other than showing up to games and cheering as loud as we possibly can.

I do believe in karma, though. But only as it applies to each individual based on their own actions, not relevant to the people around them and certainly not professional athletes based on comments made on an Internet message board by a random idiot such as myself.

This was meant to be a joke thread but it seems to have triggered some people. That was not my intention but some folks seriously need to lighten up a bit. Jeez.

You're one of those too? I Don't get how someone can believe in Karma but draw the line on jinxes, curses, luck (good or bad), black magic, the force. Karma is not being superstitious? It's all the same and not real.

I like where this thread is going.

I believe in karma to the extent that we all control our own destiny. I don't think of it as some "magical" entity that is being influenced through a means that we have no control over.

For instance, people who have negative attitudes tend to be unhappy people. People with positive attitudes tend to live happier lives. That's a basic example of karma to me.

Perfect example of how words are subjective and temporal. I believe Your example can be true. I would refer to that concept as basic human morality and empathy.

I believe that is an internal quality that governs each individual differently based on their own personality and sense of empathy. I dont believe it to be an external force of nature that governs everyone equally.

Some people believe karma is a force like gravity or friction. They believe it is something that will punish you for stealing or reward you for doing a good deed.

That is a very different concept than feeling proud or guilty based on your actions IMO

Harden is a hooper. There was never a question of whether this thread was a joke or not...Now a thread titled: "James Harden is no longer a hooper" that would get me all sorts of flustered!

Lmao people are calling for a ban. It's a joke. Besides, if he was out for the regular season for rest, I would be 100% ok with that. I wish they would rest him at least two or three games.
