We've seen enough crying from the hillbillies and bros around town when it comes to Osweiler, we don't need another garbage QB to have those same people crying.

Osweiler and Hoyer and Mallet were all universal crying from everyone because of their horrible performance on the field..(well except you with Mallett of course). Kaep shouldn't be here because I don't think he's worth bringing in football-wise but if he does happen to come in the salt levels from the simpletons (those who hate him for non football reasons) would be pretty enjoyable.

I don't think anyone that "hates" him would "hate" him if he weren't terrible at football. Bringing in garbage like that would lead to nearly "universal crying" with the exception of those who support him for non-football reasons. Let's be fair, the ONLY reason anyone would support a scrub of a player like that would have to be for non-football reasons.

Kap is a bad QB in my opinion. The non-football reasons don't bother me though. By all accounts he's a model citizen who's good to the community. I do think Roethlisberger is a worse character guy, in my opinion.

If you can get him cheap and short term like Jeff George after he doused June Jones' career in battery acid, go ahead. Unfortunately a big selling point of team sports is both being able to decompress from the realities of adult life by regressing to your own childhood or teenaged memories of playtime, and identifying with athletes who've tethered their accomplishments, efforts and attitude to your hometown.

if we miss out on romo, i don't see how it could hurt to bring him in and compete with the QBs on our roster. nice insurance if Savage goes down. its not like he will command a big contract.

Kapernick is a distraction that's not needed (his own fault for stupid behavior). That's how it would hurt.

Kapernick has not been good since the change to the read option rule.

I don't think it was a rule change so much as it was the NFL adapting to a gimmick offense. The read option is similar to the wildcat in that sense. When you first run it, you catch teams off guard and they aren't prepared to defend it....but then after a while they figure out how to beat it and the gimmick stops working.

Hate on Bud Adams all they want. . . he might have been incompetent at points. . .an ass at others. . . .but he wanted to win more than anything

Bud gave us Warren Moon, Steve McNair and got Vince Young . . . .. . . .. None of those would ever have been on Bob McNair's radar
They are not his type of quarterbacks
They don't look like his type of quarterback

I'll take VY over Fitzpatrick, Hoyer, Mallett, Savage and Brock. Lol

Funny you didn't mention Moon or McNair.

Moon and McNair were actually good QB's and not total garbage like VY, that's why I mention him. You know, "one of these things is not like the other" and whatnot.

Also, given that you are a Kap fanboy, it wouldn't really surprise me if you are a VY fanboy too.....it seems like there is a factor that you look for in QB's that has nothing at all to do with their talent....are you sure you don't post as "HardenTime" occasionally?

I'm a fan of winning! If we brought in Brady, Rodgers, Ryan, Mariota and if they are winning, I'd be a fan! If the Texan's QB is Black, White, Hispanic whomever, I'm fine with..........But people like yourself, don't want to admit your biases, have an issue with CK because he knelled during the National Anthiem or because he's Black, etc. YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM!

I've said it before and I'll say it again....IT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE TO BRING IN 37YR. OLD TONY ROMO WHO HAS BEEN HURT 3 YRS IN A ROW, HAS NEVER BEEN TO A NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME OR A SUPER BOWL, WHEN YOU HAVE A 29 YR. OLD QB WHO IS HEALTHY, HAS BEEN TO THE SUPER BOWL AND A NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!

If the Texans don't bring him in, I think they are doing themselves and their fans an injustice with what's on the market right now.

BTW, I applaud 790 AM The Bottom Line for touching on the Kaepernick subject, whereas 610 AM In The Loop is totally avoiding it!!!

You get all intense when someone comments you only like him because of his skin color or something like that yet you proceed to tell me why I dislike him.. If Aaron Rodgers knelt during the National Anthem then went to free agency you can bet your butt I'm wanting us to do everything we can to get him. You keep downplaying Romo and saying we are all racists but the fact of the matter is he just isn't good anymore or the 49ers would have kept him. You also mention continuously that he has been to a SuperBowl. I feel that is more a product of the team around him, because he hasn't sniffed the playoffs since the NFC championship then everyone left.

Go back and review your history. The 49er's had several players in the peak of their careers either retire or leave through free agency, then Harbaugh had friction with the front office and he left. After Harbaugh left he
Because, 2+2=4! No one has given me a reason why he hasn't been signed other than he can't play but he was hurt in 2015 and in a new system last yr, under a new coach, plus he was surrounded by lesser talent!

When Romo was surrounded by lesser talent he played bad too. All I'm saying is right now, I think he's the best oprion on the market.
