I think we can beat them.

Look that's a pretty bold statement.

Does this game give some hope? Yes.

Result of this game. I can care less

So what even if we slide to 4.

    Quit being chicken littles.

If we can beat them 4 times, we will win the title. If we take them to game 7, we are pretty close.

So what's to upset about? That we won't win the title this year?

Curry tripped over Beverley's feet dude. Stop being a homer and watch the game objectively. Rockets got home cooking tonight.

Sure. Rockets started way too fast and reckless; had to battle back from 20+ down. Rockets need to be smarter. Harden needs to be healthy.

1st quarter sucks. Defence and rebounds both sucks. They should guard Thompson more hard. Find a strong defensive player to treat him for next match. Houston will lose striaght in playoffs. I suggest to find nene vs Thompson. Harrel as Capella backup

So can the Spurs they don't have great defensive bigs at all.

Dedmon was brought in to be the backup and has to start now because Gasol and LMA are poor defenders.

Warriors are better defensively hince the top defensive rating 2/3 years in and top 3 the one year they weren't number 1.

Are you kidding me Capela was a lot better than nene tonight.

Against Zara who's a decent pick and roll defender, you have to go over the top and Clint is the only guy who can do that on the roster. He crushed it tonight. The offense was much better with Clint in the game.

The Warriors are one of the few matchups that nene struggles with. It's a matchup that trez should be getting all of clints backup minutes and imo I think he will.

Trez can play when golden state goes small. His rebounding deficiencies is made up by having strong rebounding from harden and bev and also him being able to finish over the top and on the roll as well as switch on to smalls which you must do against the Warriors.

He's playing on Friday and nene is not I think we will see trez make a big difference.

not having Anderson hurts also. He's a warrior killer and has been for years. Having him out there will make atleast 10 of our 3pt attempts a lot more open because of spacing and they have to respect him shot. If we can hit 4 of them that's 12 more points and then your getting close to that 120-125 number that MDA and Morey think you need to hit in order to beat the Warriors.

This was not a bad showing from the rockets.

We got to the line because the Warriors ran us off the three. Rockets don't settle for mid range shots and so when you take it to the hoop a lot, which we did your going to draw more fouls, which we did. We did what we needed to do to win. Harden needed to be more efficient but hey his wrist really is hurt and we needed to be more sound and less opportunistic when the game was close instead of trying the home run type plays.

The Warriors were feeling the heat in the 3rd when we cut it to 3 after bev ripped curry. We had the momentum and could have taken the game in control and I think imo it would have been over. But we didn't stick to the principle and got to overzealous and it showed.

Go back to the Warriors forum. Curry fell and Bev didn't foul him . This call turned the entire game

Just finished watching the replay and boy was that first quarter terrible. I thought we probably out played them after quarter time but the damage was already done and we were way behind the 8ball all game. Just could not get a few stops when we needed it most.Harden's wrist is a major concern but he usually dose not show any expressions of being in pain but in the 3rd and the 4th you could see his wrist was a major issue.I would seriously consider resting him after this road trip for one or two games.

Not too bad of a result considering I knew we were going to lose, Harden is clearly injured and we shot horribly. In the grand scheme of things this game proves again why we will not get far in the play-offs:

While you cannot really argue with the results of being 3rd seed and a great offensive team, the lack of versatility and sticking to this out there theory that you can beat the best team in the NBA by just ignoring the mid-to-long range 2 point game has been proven again to be silly. This season and the next few will be a nice little story in history where we tried something extreme, but in the end failed. The Warriors are not just long range bombs and lay-ups. Also, they have way better players and defenders so they could maybe get away with playing our way, but not us. The luxury of great players allows that and when we get Harden a Lowry, Griffin / Love then we can talk about this little theory so more. In the end that will also boil down to having all-star caliber players, but anyway..cannot fault us for trying something extreme, but it's just asinine when you know this team and other good ones like the Jazz & Spurs are going to take it away. 2nd round exit is highly likely as I figured we would.

It's a loss, but from a certain perspective the Rockets are missing Ryan Anderson and shot 5/31 from 3 and only lost by 7 pts.

I think it shows how weak GSW has become and how Houston has come closer to them, last year Rockets could have shot 38% from 3 and still lost by double digits. GSW is still favored, but IMHO Rox have a 40% chance of beating them in a 7 game series which is fantastic compared to last year. At the very least, Rox won't get 1-3 again like last year.

To be fair they were missing Durant as well a guy whom they sacrificed their entire bench for.

KD wasn't even playing ... let that sink in.

Only way Rockets win anything is when the 3 ball drops. Off nights are certain losses.
