People are going with EG just because he's been with us longer. That's a very tribal mentality. It's pretty clear that by all objective metrics Lou has been a better player this season. I don't have problem with either one of them winning, but if I'm forced to make a choice, it's gotta be Lou.

Gordon's played in 67 games this season. He's started 10 of them. And we know at minimum he'll start at least 4 more. Probably a few more than that. I don't know if a guy who starts around 20% of his games played is a true 6th man. At least when compared to Lou Williams who I believe has only started one game this season.

I love having both of them coming off the bench, which Gordon should eventually get back to doing. If one of the two goes off during the playoffs, the odds are decent that that game's going to be a W. If both of them are hitting their shots, moving the ball, and driving to the basket? It's all over for the opposition, in my opinion. We just need a healthy team. That's my biggest worry. Otherwise, I like our chances.

It's because if Lou's shot is off he will look to pass more. If EGo's shot it off he will usually keep shooting til he hits.

**** Co MVP - that is p***y BS. There is only one MVP - James Harden

I'll be ok with co 6th man - Lou and EGo

Gordon for me, he did great numbers in actual competition, Lou made those in a tanking team, EG also played pretty good defense until he got injured and he's still the better defender between the two, not sure what happened then though, if it's all related to that/those injuries he had in January, but his game overall definitely slowed down...

Also, what if Kanter wins it? Lol, "Westbrook has no help" -> Kanter wins the 6th man of the year

Eric Gordon has poise that Lou doesn't. It shows up on defense too. I thought he was an awful defender after the first 10 games, but he proved me wrong. He's made countless defensive plays using his brain. He's a smart smart player, so intuitive, so natural for what we do.

If Lou and Gordon reversed and Gordon came in from the Lakers, we'd really see what he adds to this team. I'm really liking Lou and I know the playoffs will only make me start to love the guy, but give the ball to EGo and the ThreeGo in.

Why would he start 4 more games? Do you think we'll be that unhealthy the rest of the year? There's no way he starts if we're at full strength.

Vs weak power forward team like OKC. Start eric and ryno to the bench. Give more time for Williams. I want to see what happen.

The team announced that Anderson would be out 2 weeks. That means he won't play tonight, at Portland, at Golden State, and at Phoenix. That's 4 games right there. And if he does wind up missing the full 2 weeks, he'd be out at home against Denver and probably Detroit. That would be 6 more games where Gordon starts. Then the Rockets have a quick 2-game roadie to Sactown and the Clippers on a B2B. It wouldn't shock me if for precautionary measures, D'Antoni kept him out of those.

Damn, that's rough. Well, as least the time table is favorable for a return before the playoffs.

His injury occurred 3 weeks before the start of the postseason. Based on his comments Sunday afternoon, I'd be stunned if he wasn't back before the playoffs start. My guess is he plays at least in the season ender against the T'Wolves and maybe a game or two prior to that.

easily EG to me. Lou while he has put up numbers, did it on a terrible team for over half the year. Not nearly enough to win it over EG to me. Glad we have both on this team now though

And you are including GSW in the "over for the opposition" if both Lou and Ego go off correct? I agree if so. Lou and Ego are just handful for any team to keep up with just in their scoring abilities alone. Factor in Harden and Bev's intensity, it'll definitely be tough for anyone to beat. I have not even mentioned Ariza and Dekker's 3pt shots being on......because that's a bit of a wild card given the game. But if they go off......whoa biddy....

Gordon for me, I'm not really up on how Lou was doing prior to the trade but since then...I feel Gordon is just more consistent night to night. Lou goes nuclear for a game and then seems silent for a few.

Imagine Lou going nuclear one or two games every series, Gordon going nuclear one or two games every series, and everyone else chiming in averagely... we'll be unstoppable this year in the playoffs. I'm getting the chills, ya'll.

Praying for a healthy season ending, and a full healthy post season.

Just give co-6th man of the year to Lou and EG.

But no way on earth should there be a ****ing co MVP. Harden deserves that **** this year whether the award is irrelevant or not. Yea it's a joke and the title is the main goal, but Harden deserves that accolade. This year should be his 2nd.

Yeah I'd rather ESPN get their way to giving Westbrook the trophy than see "co" on James' trophy. I don't think it diminishes Westbrook's season, I think it rightfully awards a player who basically put up similar if not better numbers...but included his team in the success, demolished all predictions and perceptions and set records all over the place. James has ascended. Westbrook scowls and hogs the ball.

Lou's nukes have basically ended games. I'm almost positive they've won every time he scores 25 or more which has been 3 or 4 games already. I think he's that x-factor. They have veterans, couple chippy, hard nosed guys, couple shooters, a couple young guys who hustle, a superstar....Lou is almost overlooked but when he's on it's unbelievable to watch. It's comparable to a talented fullback in football. Defenses start feeling good about themselves, they're stopping the runs, they've got your WR covered, they've bracketed the TE and think you're out of options...and you hit them with a FB in the flat pass that blows up. Teams are gonna think we've got James slowed down, we're closing out on their shooters and we're stopping the lobs...what else you got? Oh. ****. Sweet Lou for 30. Now what?
