If the rockets were to win the championship, expect them to win more than one...players will be swarming to play with harden...He will be the new big down in town.

it really is lame...seeing Harden accept the award in front of the home fans in the 2nd round of the playoffs would've been a great moment

This shouldn't even be close. Co-MVP wouldn't be satisfactory to me either. Straight up MVP is what he deserves.

Yeah I've never even heard that mentioned before this broadcast. Is that something that's been thrown around before? I actually wouldn't mind that being the new media narrative because it would at least involve some credit being thrown Harden's way.

    However, I wouldn't vote Westbrook 2nd either.

they've brought that up all year ever since it looked like harden was probably gonna win the MVP lol.

Now that harden is probably gonna win, it has to become "co mvp" so everyone can save their pride and say they were right about their preseason pick of westbrook winning the mvp.

it's a really dumb way for a lot of people in the media to protect their pride.

co-MVP is a tie...I want a winner, and that winner should be Harden

    co-MVP is wack

When has that been done in NBA history? Now that Harden is about to win the media wants to talk about a co-MVP. Gtfoh

No. Here's what Co-MVP would mean...

Co-MVP would mean that the media acknowledges that James Harden is the rightful MVP this season, but they also can't let go of their Westbrook triple double obsession.

This is the first time that might just use more wins to justify Harden shouldn't get the MVP because Wes is playing on a worse team. They reach their conclusions no what Harden is going to do.

    1Q to 3Q
    Russ: 21p (6-13), 8r, 10a, 5to, -20 (Worst for OKC)
    Beard: 17p (6-11), 4r, 12a, 4to, +17 (tied for 3rd best for HOU)

    Score: 113-88 Houston

After the 4th quarter we clearly stopped trying which is disappointing. The defense the entire game was suspect as well. They scored 88 points in 3 quarters. Unacceptable. They scored entirely too many points which makes me question our defense going forward. 111 defensive rating in the 1st half, 104 in the 3rd and then 147 in the 4th.... (and people say Russ doesn't have any help lol... they were scoring with ease it seems..)

But seriously, this one game shouldn't matter too much for MVP, but for some reason it will. Of course there will be the people who look at just the box score and see Russ had a 38 point triple double. I wouldn't say it was stad padding, but it was definitely garbage time points. People might say Kanter had a good game, but half of his points came in the 4th after they were already down by 25. Though he was killing our bigs throughout the whole game. Had the efficiency but not the volume.

IF he loses he would be getting screwed however, I'm not convinced he will lose. I think Harden is the favorite despite what the idiots on TV say.

I think this game will be in the eye of the beholder who got the advantage. Pro Russ media will say he got his and lost to a more loaded team. Pro Harden crowd will say Russ is all about his and is not a winner who can get his teammates going while Harden took a backseat and got Ariza, Lou and Eric shots while only taking 15 himself when he could have taken 20 plus. That is why Harden is MVP due to his unselfishness/making those around him much better then what they really are unlike Russ.

Interesting that we show hatred towards westbrick, but u do know harden and Westbrooks r homies from back then. I think it's because of the media dick riding Westbrook that makes us hate him so much.

Warriors is the final testing points. They will use it to vote. After warriors matches, u can ask harden to take more rest until playoff. Also houston must take the 3rd seed.
