Its cool to see Harden and Westbrook still close with eachother. You can tell they are still close and good friends.

I just didn't like the move to put back in James and Trevor when we were up 20 with 6 min left .

I know OKC can come back , but if you put back in James and co then if they do come back then James and trev have no choice but to play the rest of the game .

If you leave Dekker and subs in , then if OLC makes a run out James back in , if they don't then James gets to sit .

At what point does Mike feel confident and rest James ? How big does the lead need to be ? How many minutes left ?

If we put James in and hold or expand a 20 point lead then how many minutes does that take ?

There's 10 ****ing games left . We need fresh James and Trevor for the playoffs . We had a chance tonight to cap their minutes at 30 , instead we put them in and the lead dwindles and they end up near 40 .

If you give the bench a few more minutes it's not like the lead is gonna disappear any faster .

 

Those who just box score watch and didn't see the game will think Westbrook had a great great game and was the only one helping OKC keep it close.

Reality is Harden was cruising and still had great numbers, controlling the flow of the game and pace in the 1st 3 quarters. Rockets and Harden just eased off in the 4th and WB came back in when it was 20+ points and the game over to stat pad

 

I agree completely.

I love Harden getting the MVP talk, but at what point do we just start getting talked about as a team? We are 3rd in the NBA. We have more than just Harden.

 

Headline on ESPN already about WB hahaha celebrating his triple-double with a dunk?? Wow...new low... Clippers choked so we would be playing LA right now.

 

how the **** do people still use this game to prove westbrook has worse teammates than us?

why didnt you guys say that when you predicted them to have a better record than us before the season? the ignorance is revolting, im actually getting triggered

 

Felt like D'Antonio waited too long to reinsert Harden, but the way he played down the stretch, that might have been the right clown move.

 

Harden has learned to completely dominate the media

He just shrugged off the injury as "nah" and then refused to fall for the biat regarding MVP talk. Said there were other people scoring more than him today and he is happy whenver that happens and just talked about Rockets winning in general

 

Wrist looked fine is post game, he used his left to untuck his jersey and didn't even flinch. Probably just trying to unlock his "playing through injury" box checked on the mvp checklist

 

Impressive win, if you leave out the last minutes. Shooting was extraordinary and we can't count on that every night, especially in the Playoffs. Still think OKC is our best matchup. No threat at all from distance and we can throw Beverley and Ariza at Westbrook. Also love it how Dekker showed up although he wasn't a factor the last few weeks. We'll need him against the Warriors with Anderson out.

We fuc+ed up in the 4Q. Letting Westbrook go off like that by playing lazy defense. Also, Harden disappeared in 4Q, but that's what Roberson can do to you.
