Oh shoot. My bad. For some reason, I thought she was one of WW's enemies. Mera's costume is pretty darn good.
I know it's easy to rag on but I'm kind of looking forward to the trailer and movie in general. Hopefully they've learned a bit from the missteps in BvS, a movie I still enjoyed, but you'll never be rid of the Synder visuals until he's out of the director chair....
I never had much of a problem with his visuals. I did think the video-game-ness of "Man of Steel" was overbearing; I wasn't the only viewer saying, "Is it my imagination or (a) is this overkill, and (b) is this literally over-'kill', because they're flattening an entire city with not even a sniff at the probable casualties." It took three years for them to remedy this by showing Bruce Wayne hurtling through the rubble and letting us know that, yes, there were consequences. I think my main problem with the director is that he is like Peter Jackson (who has more talent) in that he doesn't know when to throttle back. Which leads to bad script ideas: "We'll combine 'Superman' with 'Superman II'----4 and a half hours of movies---into a movie that's just 2.5 hours long.....AND give the characters bad dialogue!"" "ONE T-Rex? We'll have THREE!....AND give the characters bad dialogue!" / "And then Legolas can jump from falling stone to falling stone of the bridge, and still kick orc ass!....Then we'll give the characters some bad dialogue!") At least Jackson had great source material for the majority of his films (Tolkien, "Kong"). Someone needs to pull Snyder away from his computer and get someone else to come up with his scripts; they're a mess.
So .. . . . at what point does Superman Come back? Half way through the movie. . . or sooner? Or does he come back before Justice League? Rocket River
You forgot the "progressive" artsy fartsy twist where Superman comes out as gay for no reason. thanks Snyder
