For sure. I mean, there's still stupid people who think that Obama was a good president. You can find people out there who believe anything.
So Nunes just blatantly played politic with an investigation. Amazing. Shameful. This GOPer can't be trusted. He needs to go. Better yet, there should be a completely independent investigation. Too important for GOP politicking as usual.
I am sure it had nothing to do with the released news on Trump associates collaboration with Russians...
The guy looks spooked in this video. he really seems troubled by this information/reports he has seen...I am not quite sure what it is...but it concerned him so much that he first went to Ryan...then to President Trump and his staff...to the media members in the vicinity...then made a public statement...then to the ranking cuck of the Intelligence committee(Schiff). This looks like a major bombshell. Question for those on this forums whose collective sphincters tightened up from the sudden defensiveness in their posts(see above)...If Obama was given intelligence reports about Trump's campaign activity; all of which have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Russia and everything to do about the campaign...would you be willing to concede that someone from the Obama administration needs to be in jail? Tomorrow is gonna be very interesting...
Interesting how when real information challenges MSM bullish...you lose all sense of "impartiality..." quite the statement coming from you DD... So wait...in your view he played politics with facts that dont jive with your narrative? Let me guess for your independent investigation...lets use Lynch, Wasserman, Schiff, Pelosi and Feinstein...really having a hard time hearing you through the relentless waahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh's...
Which facts from Nunes are you talking about? He claimed one thing and then when pressed on it, said oh no it wasn't that. Nunes has already said there was no physical tapping of Trump Tower phones. Nunes didn't really even say anything new. The FBI already testified that the Trump team was under investigation.
The way I heard it, he was talking about surveillance which happened and the questions were about wiretapping which refers to one specific method of surveillance that apparently wasn't used. It's not really contradictory if other means of surveillance were used. It's like saying that there was communication between 2 people and then people asking about phone calls when the communication was via e-mail instead. The answer to the questions would be that no phone call took place, but that doesn't mean that no communication took place.
Maybe, but today he came out and made the statement and then when asked questions about it, he seemed to back off. But none of it should be surprising since we know that Trump's team is under investigation. It doesn't really change anything or put Trump and his tweets in a more positive light.
Is Trump the subject of the investigation? I think that claim is a stretch. Also, Nunes stated that the surveillance was not associated with Russia.
Well the specific methods of surveillance used would be classified, something he wouldn't be allowed to talk about most likely. If the Obama administration did influence the surveillance of the Trump team, then it really does put Trump's tweets in a more positive light in that they would be sort of true assuming "wiretapping" was used in a colloquial sense rather than a literal sense. They'll never prove that any high ranking member of the Obama administration ordered it, just like the nonsense with the IRS, but it's plausible that it happened which makes seemingly ridiculous tweets seem true.
But Trump used "wiretapping" in quotes, and also used tapp my phones not in quotes. What Nunes says doesn't really make Trump's tweets anymore true. All he did was confirm that Trump's people are under surveillance and communicating with other folks under surveillance by the FBI, and none of it is illegal. I get that it shows there communications were intercepted by intelligence. But that doesn't really make Trump's tweets true in any meaningful way. That wasn't what Trump claimed and Trump specifically equated it to illegal watergate activity. Even Nunes says nothing he came across was illegal. What Nunes said doesn't in any way make Trump's tweets true. It would if Trump said that his transition team had their communication intercepted and he wasn't happy about it. Had Trump tweeted that, this would back up that claim. That isn't what Trump tweeted, inferred, or communicated since then.
Fact: Nunes stated that information received through the "proper channels" indicate that members of the Trump team and perhaps the man himself where "unmasked" and made available in daily intelligence briefings. These breifings were then shared to various agencies without any impunity ( and bc Obama made it easier). The context of these conversations have ZERO ties to Russia and appear to be "incidental surveillance"... Fact: NO physical taps of Trump Tower/ were identified or proven to be accurate... (this however was old information as per Nunes) Fact: The FBI stated that there is ZERO connection to the Trump administration and the Russian govt. The feds also stated that there were NO wiretaps of Trump Towers...(so how can they make such a conclusion, unless every conversation by Trump and his associates were being monitored...) Why is it ok that private US citizens are being spied upon by the US govt? Why is it OK that the former US president is getting active intelligence briefings about the then president elect? I have NO clue about what information will be made available to the American people, but if it was a cause of concern and alarm for the chairman of the intelligence committee..then it should be a concern to us. This is a major news/political story regardless of how you are trying to minimize it...
Sure, and when he took office, Obama's incompetence made him the worst president in decades. We're just lowering the bar all the time.
