Even though Harden was great tonight and Westbrook was awful: 1. NBA and ESPN doesn't care. 2. Westbrook is back to having no help, even though they won 5 in a row before tonight and Westbrook played awful himself. 3. Apparently no one was playing defense for Denver on the final possession so Harden deserves no credit. I really cant believe the media. This is nuts.
This should be harden's second MVP. Clearly should have won it 2015. Dwight missed half the year and team still finished #2 in the west. Media was too busy jock riding Steven as usual.
GS-OKC was THE game tonight. Harden was the FIRST story after that matchup on www.espn.com I hope Russ has more clunker games to finish the season... OKC can go ahead and lose too.
On Harden's run to the basket? Looks like he bodied up on the guy, but I didn't see a hold. Not that I'd care! Nene helped set up that play by bothering the shot. Air ball and Harden digs out the rebound and just bulls his way to the basket. Beautiful! Damn, Denver is setting up to be a nice team and one to watch out for. Morey can't rest. Teams like Denver and Utah are improving, as if there weren't enough tough teams already. Luckily, we're one of them.
This is the same killer Harden of 2015 when he was the most clutch player in the game. reminds me of the layup he made over Parsons(mavs) to win the game and stepped over pretty boy afterwards. He was hitting threes and clutch jumpers all game. Especially in the last 3 minutes.
It was a less effective version of Bogut's "turn towards the basket and into the defender as if you were trying to grab a rebound" moving pick. The NBA never called it once against Bogut so that's like carte blanche for others to imitate him.
