Barkley has to be honored cause he actually took us to the WCF and helped us take down Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton I also respect Barkley for actually saying our uniforms then were ugly.
We laugh, but he scored 2,400 points in the best league in the world, and is the GOAT of a country that has some fine looking honeys.

Right? I mean he was our original left handed slashing combo guard. Oh what could have been if we kept Francis and Mobley and never traded for TMac. Dont get me wrong love everything TMac brought to Rockets. Would have never had some of the Rockets most memorable moments if he didnt. But I had been cheering for our Rockets, Francis and Mobley and then we finally get a real center! Wish we gave it more than one season with Yao but the wind to get TMac was closing and they pulled the trigger on the deal.
I have grown to hate being honoured. Teams that win title don't honour Carl Herrera. They find the next Carl Herrera.
Herrera was instrumental to winning the championship as he had that sweeping move through the lane where he would hang, and do a sort of front facing jump hook. Unguardable on that move. Great hang time. Finisher. And Knick killer. Plus he was Houston Cougars alum to boot. All important things at the time.
Yeah, before clicking that button, I also was wondering where Kenny Smith was on that list. He hit one of the most memorable shots in Rockets history (3-pointer to send game to overtime, game 1, 1995 NBA Finals). I wonder if they sent him an invite, but he refused for some reason. Or maybe it has do to with some general beef between the TNT crew and the Rockets (no Barkley either, who on merits is also deserving of a night).
