The more we get away from this, the happier I am that we stood pat on Ibaka. He's playing okay in Toronto, but they haven't made a leap. They've gone 6-4 with him. If we went 6-4 vs a bunch of teams that have lower winning percentages than us, we'd be frustrated. I can't imagine what all would be different, but something tells me we'd be worse off with Ibaka right now. Not that Ibaka is bad, but we would've given up pieces that are unforeseen.
K-Low has been out with a broken wrist though. I haven't watched their games but Lowry is (arguably) their best player. Ibaka is not that guy to keep a team afloat. I think he would have been good as a Rocket. oh well.

All love bruh. Serge would have been huge here. Bigger than Lou, comparative to the sacrifices we would have had to made to get him? Idk.
FWIW, I wanted Ibaka but I'm fine with keeping Harrell/Dekker and getting Lou instead. Kinda doubt the Raptors are going anywhere regardless.
What you had to give up to acquire Ibaka is probably less of a deterrent than what you'd have to pay to keep Ibaka. That's the real issue. Of course the Serge Ibaka makes 25 million a year thread would have been a fun read. Maybe Morey can convince him to come here for less than that over the summer. If not, no huge loss. He's good, but still only a role player at the end of the day.
