Some people are speculating that the Donald send the tax returns out himself to distract from his other problems.

You could change Russian Collaboration to Sesame Street Collaboration and those same 15 people would vote for impeachment.

You would be totally wrong. I said many times I doubt there will be proof that Trump colluded with the Russians during the election, but if there are incontrovertible evidence, then he most definitely should be impeached. I am not holding my breath on this ever happening.

You on the other hand, would not impeach him even if he is proven to be a KGB spy.

You would be totally wrong. I have never been totally in to Trump but I haven't seen much to support impeachment like the regulars here.

This poll is under the assumption of incontrovertible evidence, I certainly am not supporting impeachment at this point.

Look at all the other times he's leaked to the Press information ABOUT HIMSELF in order to paint himself in a positive light. He did it the exact same way too.

Then there was the WH statement prepared ahead of time which seemed to know exactly what they would talk about, the Trump jr. tweet, etc. Even if he didn't send them himself, obviously the way it was done makes it obvious that it was someone that supports Trump so it might as well have been him.

Its actually quite brilliant because now anytime his surrogates are on TV and the issue gets brought up about his tax returns they will lie and say He has released his returns and it shows he pays million in taxes. Even though that's not remotely true, they can do their usual pretzel bending in a debate to make themselves have a case.

The thing we have to keep remembering is that the Media and its manipulation is a big game for Donald Trump. Always has been. I understand why Rachel took the opp to get new viewers in and deliver the real story first (about his Russian ties to oligarchs etc.), but at the same time she and MSNBC did get played.

But good news is CNN didn't really take the bait, and make a quick point to change the conversation quickly to the REAL NEWS that Comey is going to be making a public statement tomorrow, and AHCA, etc.

And its amazing to me that Trump fans here will likely say that they don't support impeachment even if he is found guilty of collusion which would be the biggest crime a President has committed in ... who knows.

Trump fans love to call themselves Patriots all the damn time, and we might very well see that their so-called Patriotism is self serving at best.

Again... Russia has nukes pointed at our Country as we speak and has been since the Cold War. They want to destroy liberal Democracy in Europe and remove US/West influence. If Trump colluded with them than it is Treason.

Do we not have like a dozen other threads on this topic? What IF Trump could make pigs fly? Should we impeach him because he is in violation of FAA regulations?

Has there ever been more speculation/wishful thinking rhetoric than all the Trump conspiracy theories?

I'm against impeachment. I'm for bringing treason charges and letting Trump finish his term in a federal prison.

Impeachment should be limited to acts while in office. If Trump goes full Nixon and breaks the law to cover up his treason, impeachment becomes a consideration.

Hmm... agree there are sure a lot of threads about stupid things Trump said, stupid lies Trump said, stupid people he put in his cabinet, and stupid things Trump has done. Would it be better to simply have one really long "Trump said/did something stupid" thread?

btw, seems you have positioned yourself as more of an "independent" thinker... one that thinks the real problem is that both democrats and republicans are to blame. Seems you were pretty open and generous with criticisms of the past President and administration and the most recent Democrat candidate for president. Perhaps I have missed your criticisms of this President, administration and congress. So curious what you think about things like his healthcare plan? His border wall plan? His immigration plan? His statements about being wiretapped?

Always good to get a more "independent" view... especially not influenced by partisan politics.

Kudos.. And I see your posts in the impeach Trump thread that confirm this. You are an anomaly on this forum.

I would be against impeachment but instead would want:
Mandatory leading role for him, playing himself, in dramatic miniseries about the conspiracy, all written by liberals in Hollywood. And no ad-lib for Cheeto.

I like your thinking. I would enjoy Trump being allowed to rant for 2 hours straight. That would be followed by a press conference afterward where he was forced to answer and respond to all questions for another 3 hours. Also instead of Trump choosing who asks the questions, Dan Rather would get to choose who asks the questions.

It's pretty simple, if he's linked to any of this stuff and found guilty then of course he should be impeached and that goes without saying. It would be a sad day for the U.S, though. Our whole political process would come under question and if someone as bad as Trump could possibly be elected now, what does the future hold for our country? Scary stuff when you think about it.

The dude is not a big fan of how money and politics interact to begin with. The United States isn't supposed to be a Plutocracy or Oligarchy, and the founding fathers would be "upmost" (P-Bev) upset if they knew how elections were being decided these days, Russian interference be damned.

Yeah like hacking into their servers and then releasing them to through wikileaks and then having people defend that as a good thing.

    Oh wait....

Given that he is more loyal to Putin than to the USA, I think he is a traitor.
