How are the Lakers just gonna waive him? Do u know how much money he's still owed? Also, any player waived after March 1st can't join a playoff team.

They have to finish in the bottom 3 to protect their pick they are tanking.

EXACTLY. Part of the reason they traded Lou Williams for Brewer. Not so they would WIN, for God's sake.

It's all about the draft now for the Lakers.

He can't be playoff rostered so irrelevant, but even on top of that I have seen no indication that Mozgov is or has at any point in his career been a better player than 34-year-old Nene.

Double LOL @ Cavaliers for spending two first round picks on him two years ago.

2 protected picks and they did win a championship so don't think that was a bad decision

With Mozgov being a decisive factor? We paid one very late first round pick for Lou Williams, whose trade value is a lot higher.

So you're saying the potential of the players they could've gotten with the two first round picks is lower than Jordan McRae, DeAndre Liggins or James Jones... ? Come on, they completely overpaid.

no im saying they have no use for any draft picks coming in period. and that's going to be true until lebron is no longer playing for a ring. why do you think they dumped their kids, when he himself said he has no interest in relying on them if they want to win a championship. he wants vets around him not kids. stop thinking in terms of getting value for everything. it's not always about them for every team. Clev won a ring, gave up protected picks that Lebron has absolutely no interest in and will still be playing for a ring for the next couple of years.

Yeah but we beat them and we have more rings than them so we are better than them

You didn't answer my question. Jordan McRae or DeAndre Liggins are neither vets nor quality players, so you could've added more talent to your group or just trade the picks for something more valued if you don't want to develop. The fact that they still have a Championship team doesn't mean this wasn't a terrible deal.

what are you talking about. not sure how you're not understanding they don't care about developing young players with lebron. is mcrae on the team? no. is liggins even playing? no. who is Lebron surrounded by now? Nothing but vets from top to bottom. what's the ultimate goal in the game of basketball? winning a championship. done. next
