Eh...that's at least debatable, he plays at home in one of best teams in Europe, and he's also losing money not coming in the nba, that tells you all you need to know about the guy if his game isn't tell you enough. I understand what and why you're sayint that, but the term "loser" is the last thing you can say about Llull.

Can't have both cap space and the MLE.

Eh that's the problem, it will recquire a sign and trade for a top player to have the MLE right?

Let's say we have two (dream) scenarios, Hayward and George, if we make a trade with the Pacers during or before the draft we should be over the cap right and have the MLE right? But what if we do a sign and trade for Hayward at free agency started?

What i don't know is when exactly is the moment a team is considered under or above the cap...is this set when the salaries of the current season are off the books? Is there a deadline for teams to be over or under the cap so they're considered by the league in one way or the other?

Yep. The only way I see that is a SnT involving Griffin or Heyward.

Something like Griffin for Anderson and Lou, then sign Llull using the MLE.

didn't stand out to me at all during these past olympics. in fact he struggled quite a bit. he isn't any better then any of our current guards anyway

I think most people would not call someone a "winner" if they are totally unwilling to compete at the highest level

I say just dump him for a draft pick if someone is willing to take him

He's unwilling for now, who knows in few months, a year or two....he's probably the first to have no idea of when (if ever) he will be eventually ready to change his life (because for him it's not just about basketball, that's what some falks here do not understand)...however, while i get what you're saying, it doesn't mean a player can't be a winner just because he's not competing in the nba, Llull is definitely a winner, his plays and his career talk for him more than anything.

    Some recent Euroleague MVPs:

    - Nando De Colo
    - Nemanja Bjelica (Wolves' bench guy)
    - Sergio Rodriguez (Sixers' PG while Simmons is out)
    - Vassilis Spanoulis

Kind of puts things in perspective.

I'm a fan of Sergio Rodriguez.. but I still want Llull here I think he'll follow Pablo Prigioni and come in late 30s
