Cawhy's team just beat the best team in the NBA without him or his best mate, Aldridge. Spurs are a good team without an MVP on the squad. Their MVP wears a suit during their games. Ours wears a jersey.
All over the news is Russ beating Wilt's record for trip dubs in a season, two big statement games by WB against the spurs and Jazz. I want to believe people will look at the whole season and appreciate that Harden is the MVP, but I think WB almost has it locked now. But you're right Kawhi is out of the race now, as everyone can see Pop is the true MVP
Dude westbrook played jazz without gobernutz and spurs without kowe the whole 4th. Also no tony parker Its stupo
I agree it is stupid, but the voters are stupid. They're not going to remember or think about that, they're going to see his pretty statline and see the teams he's recently beaten. I question their critical thinking skills and rationality - they did leave Harden off All-Nba last year, so obviously they're a bunch of idiots, in my opinion.
Except for the two rookie MVPs, Wilt and Unseld, and MJ's injury year, no one who failed to make any of the three All-NBA teams one year has won MVP the next. The voting media doesn't want that story to happen.
I think Tha_Dude's baked post is saying the real MVP wears a spandex suit...and has a tarantula man as an arch-enemy
Harden must ball out against the Cavs on national TV. He needs to have a crazy statline, and the Rockets need to win the game. The Rockets would also clinch a playoff spot on national TV with a win tonight. That would leave an impression on the voters. If he comes out and has 1 of those games where he has like 8 turnovers, shoots 0-9 from three, and barely scores 20 points while the Rockets lose at home then Westbrook will have a commanding lead.
