    Paul Ryan would rather unhealthy people get sicker, go bankrupt and then simply die. Solves lots of problems.

    the basic idea of insurance is that premiums are commensurate with risk, not ability to pay

    Ryan is clearly not the policy wonk the main stream media needs him to be (can't write "both sides" stories without a policy nerd from the GOP). He is cool with socializing on behalf of the wealthy and corporations via subsidies and public absorption of externalities, but absolutely no socialization of risk for the middle class, poor, and general non-wealthy.

    This whole ruse is just to reduce taxes for the uber wealthy. It isn't enough that the share of wealth from productivity goes overwhelmingly to the 1%, they have to get more tax cuts too. Here, Ryan and Carlson get a little honest:
