That's not the point, the point is he is not going to want to become a volume three point shooter. Who will be taking spot up threes off passes or step backs. that's not his game at all.

    I think you meant

To which Hayward will say, "My team is worse than yours, but I'll stay anyway because white guys in Utah are rock stars"

Honestly, do you think a better record is an indication of a worse team? I fail to follow. Sure, the Jazz have our number (mainly due to Gobert's ability to shut down one aspect of Harden's game, and Hood's ability to go off like crazy against us every-single-time).

so you honestly think gordon hayward thinks the rockets are better than the jazz? Which do you think he is more worried about: overall records on a paper, or handily beating the rockets? Sure, arguments can be made either way, but we know which side he is leaning towards, no? I just don't see him coming, I would be shocked.

We have enough players that can score. All this team needs is another rim protector. Particularly one that doesn't care about getting the ball. Ex: Bismack Biyombo

The system is flexible enough to fit whatever talent is on the team. Its fits having Harden, Gordon and Lou Will all at the same time even if 3 of those can handle the ball and playmake.

Btw the Jazz isn't better than the Rockets, if they are how come we have a much better record? They just have a better matchup against us due to their bigs.

Star players for Utah would have to be Milsap (and only because his 3 point shot got better) but his pts and boards have been similar. All the others got worse.

Matthews played 1 year so he doesn't count. :)

That's the thing about the system. It's not flexible at all, in fact its the most inflexible offensive system in the league. and when players don't fit it, they are shipped out of here in short order.

The Jazz is better than the rockets. the rockets don't have a much better record, they are separated by a few games, and the jazz are much better suited for playoff style basketball.

Jazz against playoff teams in the Western Conf other than Houston (5-12)
Rockets against playoff teams in the Western Conf other than Utah (9-7)

That's not manipulation. Even if you add their head to head games in there the Rockets still are 10-9 while the Jazz 7-13. Rockets have fared better against Playoff teams this year.

And in a 7 games series with Houston getting HCA, the Rockets would win that series.

don't get upset! just accept that the rockets are going anywhere with this bull **** system, and the only way for it to change is for them to be exposed, which they will be. don't yell at me because I want whats best for the franchise!

Yes, I know the regular season record is very good.

So you are saying that this Rockets team, minus Lou Williams and whoever else we might have to let go to clear a max slot, is worse than the Jazz without Hayward?
