Most people don't want Brewer back but the point is that Morey got rid of our wing depth in KJ and Brewer and did not replace them with anyone except another guard. So what you have is MDA trotting out a 3 guard lineup which isn't working because they are poor defensively, undersized and bad at rebounding. Dekker coming off the bench is not going to do it. Morey says we are in win now mode but yet we have no wing depth or the frontline help that we need.
You miss the brick corner threes or him slipping down all over the place with the ball on transition break? you miss the turnovers? you miss the over playing on defense( he gambled to much to get steals) which usually resulted on a layup for the opposition ?
I miss his energy and professionalism and vocal leadership in the locker, i also miss just seeing him on the court as he has a beautiful unique physique and figure and has a certain grace to his movement and when he was in the action I often used to almost hear circus music in the background
Not gonna lie. Corey looks better in a Lakers uni than a Rockets one. Not for the simple fact that he was just crappy in a Rockets uni but for the fact that it doesnt look all baggy on the skinniest-lankiest alien looking dude on the planet. The colors and fit are more streamlined for him. Thats my fashion take for the year. Youre welcome.
I don't miss Brewer. Many nights he would shoot the corner 3 and miss. Also miss layup after layup. Being a good team mate can only go so far.Just like my ex wife I don't need to see either one of you again.
I watched Corey play vs Nuggets a night or two ago. I didn't even watch the whole game and saw the dude make 2 cringing plays. He tried to be showtime and attempted a behind back no look pass on a breakaway..... he missed his man and it went out of bounds. Wow. Then he tried to make some move near the basket.... didn't work and he made himself look silly
Brewer -23 today. Still helping the Rockets win. I miss him so much I wish we could play against him every night.
