Old people love malls. Find a seat.. sit down.. watch the youngin's. Galleria is discombobulated, but Top 5 in the country I've been to.
It has been re-purposed into a massive mausoleum on one side (where the Montgomery Wards and Federated used to be) and is a massive garbage dump on the other side where the Foley's and Oshman's used to be. I hear it is also a great place to pick up an under age prostitute.
Maybe you're right. Maybe I'm just in a weird in-between stage and I'll get to liking malls again when I'm older.
Nope, still has a Macy's and JCPenny along with Sears as anchors. Not much else though outside of Champs and Foot Action/Locker.
I chimed in with that one early on. For me it was the first place I eat Chickfli-a and it had a great Gold Mine arcade right next to Baddages. And then you had Sound Warehouse next to the movie theater and place that had those small lead D&D figures and all those early modules. **** yeah man WW is missed and is a place that pales in comparison to it's former glory.
Back when I lived inside the loop and worked in Jersey Village, I would occasionally take Old Hempstead Road to work - passing by this mall. Today I learned that after all those years, that mall was open when I drove by it.
How random, i found this on my Facebook feed: http://theleadernews.com/28775-2/ and then there's this lady: get a gym membership lady, geez

Back in the day it was all about North Oaks Mall - 1960 and Stuebner Airline. Cruising that mall on Saturday night was so much fun......ahhhhh, the days.
Yeah ACC bought it (had to wait until all the leases were done for each individual store) and converted it to a campus. They are only using a porting of it right now. Assuming that they eventually use the entire structure though.
Deckard, you seem like a nice dude since I have been here but I take it you haven't been laid in a very long time, no?
Trump lives on my mall, which pretty much tells you the state of it. Malls I've been too: Mall of America ( MN ) - This was in the time of Christian Laettner. It was great back then. Not sure what it is now. Destiny USA (Syracuse) - This is the mall where I grew up. They invested quite bit into it and while nice, I have a hard time believing it's doing well. Pen Cann Mall ( Syracuse ) - Dead. Now, I just want to kill zombies in malls. Cause that is much fun. I
