Boy, you'll are really brave on Tony Romo. Just hope you'll have a backup plan. History says you are going to need it.
its either chance on romo or stick with brock. i think most will take their chance on romo! man i never been so excited for a trade dump lmaooo up there with trading for a star
I think Romo looks increasingly likely and then they will use the first draft pick where they like a QB to put a young guy on the roster.
Well, the best way to piss off our entire city and fan base here in D/FW is for Houston to win a SB with Romo. I'm a Cowboys fan but I would LMAO if that happened. As far as Romo being auto-injury guy, I don't think it is necessarily automatic. I think he's been unlucky. The one problem bone that I think he broke a few times...he had some reinforcement procedure done to help prevent it from breaking again. And, I think that bone he broke this last time was just a freak injury. But, a hard hit and awkward landing on his back seems to be all it takes. Just hold your breath if he gets sacked and the bigger guy lands on him. That's what we did. Honestly, Romo may need to play more cautious in his approach and just go down if he's in trouble. He is not going to outrun anyone and that got him in trouble per his last injury.
Yep, although not 100% sold they'll get a QB in round 1 - remember, the other component of this deal is that Savage will now likely to be a Texan in '17. I'll be shocked if the 4 they got from Cleveland isn;t already halfway up I-45....
I didn't mean the 1st round pick, I said the 1st pick where they like a guy. As in, first time there is a guy they like on the board at their slot. Would be absolutely stupid. That would be trading a 2nd for Tony Romo essentially. That 4th is crucial to this team right now as it is the first pick of the 4th. That could easily be a starter.
I still think they use that first rounder on an OT with Romo here (if it happens) then it'll be even more important that position be fixed and a lot of that cap space will go to Romo and Nuk.
Given how deep this CB class is, that 4th rounder from Cleveland could very well be an AJ Bouye replacement.
OK - but ONLY if the Texans trade for Romo. If he's released, or another team usurps Houston, no bet.
Whoa...my whole bet is they won't make that trade for him. So what's the winning play for me? They trade for him I lose, he gets cut no one wins? LOL The deal should be, they trade a 4th for him, I lose. He gets cut and Texans sign him you lose. Anything else is a push.
